List of Rodwan M. Hiba's Reviews
I think it is horrible that a doctor thinks waiting for 2.5 to 3 hours after your appointment time for every appointment is ok. I do not, my time is worth as much as his. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND OR RETURN AGAIN!
Coming from a lifetime of GI issues, great stomach doctors are difficult to find. Dr. HIba certainly fits the title of "great"! He took the time to listen to me, hear my 30-plus-year history, read my previous medical charts (stacks), reviewed my previous medications, and started me on a plan to live a more productive comfortable life. There may not be a cure for some of my medical conditions; I know he will try everything he can to make sure I'm living my best life. He and his staff went the extra mile with my insurance company to get the medication I needed. Dr. Hiba performed an endoscopy with dilation and a colonoscopy without undue stress to myself. I was treated with respect by the hospital that he sent me to by all staff involved with the process. You can tell that those who work with him hold him in high regard. There is hope for me thanks to Dr. Hiba and his staff!
If I could give this place zero stars I would. I scheduled my appointment 3 months ago. I got called the day of my appointment to be rescheduled to a later time that day, 6:00 PM. Waited for 2 HOURS before I was even taken back to the room. Finally the doctor came into the room and acted like I was WASTING HIS TIME. I walked out on him and was never even seen. This place was NOT clean and the staff are NOT friendly. Don't waste your time.
I am very disappointed with this office. I made an appointment in March, and the earliest appt at that time was for June. So I made the appt. I called the day before the appt to confirm. I was told that my appt was canceled because they do not accept my insurance anymore. But they did not attempt to notify me. I was told they did, but there was no record of that call on my phone or even a note on my chart. So, I waited 3 months for nothing. When I asked when they stopped accepting Aetna, the response was a few weeks ago or maybe a month. This is healthcare.
Approximately Four years ago Dr. Hiba saved my Life at the Bayfront Hospital, Brooksville . Since then he is the most competent and knowledgeable Doctor I have ever met! He takes time to speak with my wife Lisa and ensures she knows all that's going on. Yes, you may wait in waiting room a tad but TRUST me...it's all worth It! Dr. Hiba even shares personal stories that make him so real and caring. He's like a relative you absolutely love and can't wait to see again. Thanks Dr. Hiba & Staff and I'll be seeing you in May/June 2023. Blessings from the Beaverson's (Thomas & Lisa).
Was told at my first visit that I needed to expect to wait 3 to 4 hours before being seen by dr. hiba. Lucky me, only waited 2 hours to be told that all I need is fiber in my diet.
It seems Dr Hiba either has 5’s or 1’s. It’s all in the attitude of the patient I suppose. If you want a knowledgeable doctor that cares and takes time with you, you will have to be patient and wait while he spends time with others. He only has so much time in his day so I’m sure they try to help as many people as they can in that time. He never knows how long he may be at the hospital in the mornings with patients if something unusual arises or if he’s called into an emergency surgery at 2 in the morning. You have to consider he is human too. He has been my doctor for about 13 years. Since then, he has become the doctor for several of my family members and friends. Here are a few reasons why I love Dr Hiba. A close relative had been seeing another doctor for a disease that they had deemed terminal and were just keeping him comfortable until he passed. . I convinced him to see doctor Hiba and he is still alive 10 years later and thriving. I myself had gone to doctors and had scans for 3 years before I went to see him. No one could give me a diagnosis or see anything in my scan. Dr Hiba looked at my 3 year old scan that several other doctors looked at and showed me exactly where I had a twisted colon and explained what was happening in my gastro track each time I ate and why I was having my symptoms. He also was able to fix a situation with my daughter that other doctors missed. Now my husband is under his care. This isn’t even talking about the friends of mine he has treated. If you want a doctor that knows his stuff, here he is. He is also compassionate and really cares.
Ive never been to a Drs office that educated me on what was going on with... Saved my life actually!!! Top. Notcb
Tried billing me every month saying I have a balance of $200 something?? Don’t know if you have an atrocious billing department or you’re doing this deliberately to scam people for their money. Also no point in making an appointment, you’re gonna be in the waiting room for 3-4 hours anyway. Then another hour in the patient room. Spends five minutes talking to you and calls it a day.
You might to have to wait, but I waited at my last GI doctor's office too. The staff and nurses are amazing, I've been in pain for over 6 years and many ER visit, scans and x-rays - I feel very Blessed that Dr. Hiba and nurse worked so hard to FINALLY make me feel like living again. ❤️

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
