I had called so many other offices and received short, terse responses as well as not even being able to make an appointment because I'm self-pay. However, at Dr. Mathews' office, I was able to make an appointment with Grace, who was very knowledgeable, efficient and kind. She knew exactly how much each appointment and procedure would be via cash payment. WOW! Thank you, Dr. Mathews, Grace and staff for welcoming cash patients and being so friendly on the phone. That is a great start and I look forward to my appt!!!

I have no comments about dr Matthews as appointments with him have been very routine. The office staff however is rude, argumentative and cannot manage the patient load. Patient care is NOT their priority. Inability to get a prescription refill because I have not seen the Dr recently and they cannot get me an appointment for a real long time. They say its my fault, I should know how the system works. Well I do not....thats thier job . Its called patient / health management. I told them to tell Dr Matthews that I will be looking for a new heart doctor and all they said was goodbye and hung up on me.

Dr. Thomas Mathews at Saint Luke's Heart Institute is THE best cardiologist in the world. He is kind and caring and actually listens to you. He has the best bedside manner ever. He knows what he is doing and takes excellent care of all his patients. Thank you for saving my life Dr. Mathews. Oh and Mrs. Mathews is so sweet and all the ladies in the office are great too, especially Ms. Judy, thank you all. BTW the new waiting room and lobby is so nice and spacious and roomy, FINALLY, thank you and CONGRATULATIONS on the expansion, you deserve it so much.

I am my mothers caregiver and We’ve had nothing but issues with this office. The doctor is great however his staff drops the ball way too much. They have committed a HUGE hippa violation which I didn’t even receive an apology for and I bet the other patient didn’t either and also I was disrespected by Debbie in the office i requested to speak to an office manager I still haven’t heard back from them. Then my mom had a procedure 3 days ago and I had to call for a follow up because they haven’t even called to see how she’s feeling.
