Vincent Alia's Online Review Report Card

We've been seeing Dr Alia for several years and he is totally awesome! He patiently listens, explains completely. On one visit last year, he sent me to the emergency ward after finding a serious heart problem that I had no idea I had and since I then needed a pacemaker as he predicted, I credit him for saving my life! He's amazing!

In my experience Dr. ALIA IS THE BEST AROUND. HANDS DOWN. VERY THOROUGH, SHARP, LISTENS ... NOT LIKE MOST DOCTO RS THEIR HEAD AND NOSE IN COMPUTE. DR.ALIA'S NURSE SEEMS ALWAYS IN HURRY, RUSHES. THE SERVICE DR.ALIA TREATS YOU WORTH THAT. DON'T GO NOWHERE DR. ALIA WE NEED YOU !!! Comfortable staff nice friendly people. Office and waiting area clean.

Unfortunately I have to change my earlier 5 star review. The second star is only for Dr. Alia, who I still believe is a great doctor. His office staff is so bad that I had to leave the practice and find a new doctor. They wouldn't fax my bloodwork paperwork and when I asked for it to be mailed they said "we will but you'll probably never get it" lo and behold it never showed up. I just cannot afford to take days off work to pick up bloodwork orders.

I used to go to Dr. Alia do not anymore because they do not take my insurance. The office called me and left a message on my answering machine. Telling me that they do not take my insurance anymore and they are canceling my appointment. Very tacky. Last time I was there his MA was rude acted like she ran the office. Treated me like I was a dummy. Going somewhere else and I think I will be much happier.

I have been with Alia for about a year now. For the last visit, I went into the exam to look into receiving medication for my mental disorder. When I went in, he checked my vitals, but when he checked my heart by using a stethoscope he was very intrusive. Most doctors that I had received in the past because I am a female have either put the stethoscope under my shirt or have put it over my shirt. Instead of asking me if it was okay to lift my shirt, he lifted my shirt completely without a female nurse present. After that, I explained that I want to try a new medication for my mental disability. While I was explaining my reasons why, he appeared bored and appeared to be visibly tired with me. When I explained my symptoms, he then proceeded to make me feel that my symptoms were not valid. After this, he then explained that I could take a medication and 'see what happens'. I will not be going back to him and I'd advise for any woman who goes to him to request a nurse or go with a friend.

He listens and if he is not sure what you are asking him he takes the time to look it up and find out. He is easy to talk to and he listens.Very friendly.

If I could give it a zero stars I would. Whoever the two women are who answer the phones at this location are extremely rude. We are new to the area and my husband is a disabled veteran who wanted to schedule his appt to see his new pcm. The women were short with him, snappy and told him how they had just told him the information earlier when he called. Not even aware of his mental disability. He called back and cancelled his appt. No one wants to go into an office with rude staff who can't even take care of their patients over the phone properly. Very sad since the Doctor himself seemed to have great reviews. So he could be a great Dr but his front desk staff sucks. Tricare will be notified.

Dr. Alia is very professional . He listens But the front desk personal are not professional. You cannot talk to them while they are talking about what is going on they are very rude if you do The other staff are very nice For a first impression I didn't like the front desk staff. Dr Sing better check into that Acess Health Care wants good ratings Look in the front desk personnel.

Dr. Vincent Alia is our family physician. Not onlyis he a wonderful Doctor he is also a tremendous caring person. Don't know what we would do with out him.
