Very poor bedside manner. Did not listen and talked over me. With 2 other doctors and a nurse present that agreed she was very rude and judgmental wasn’t knowledgeable about my condition and stated bluntly that I’m not in pain because I’m on my phone. Would never want her as a doctor assigned to my care again EVER!!

I would have given her 0 stars, but I had to give one star to write the review.This woman talks out both sides of her mouth. She tells me that the longer that I am in the hospital, the better my chances for a speedier recovery. After she says this, she complains about the fact that I don't have any insurance to cover my medical care. I couldn't be released from the hospital until I had oxygen at home. I couldn't afford an oxygen concentrator- Dr. Markova made a snide remark. She said that maybe some one is giving them away, and I could get one for free for Christmas. She wasn't saying this to be helpful, as there are no agencies that I know of that do this. She also did not mention any agencies that help people who cannot afford oxygen. She needs to keep the snide remarks to herself and concentrate on taking care of her patients. She is by far one of the WORST doctors that I have ever had the misfortune of encountering.

Markova is an unscientific, patronizing bafoon who does not recognize adverse effects of medications and will even increase them. Patient suffered greatly under her negligence. She needs to recall "first do no harm."

I have never seen a doctor tell patient " you are dying, and you should go to die in these few days...." that is no ethics and no bedside manner

I cannot rate her staff, as I am a 'former' patient of hers....I sincerely wish I were still HER patient however. Dr. Markova is one of the BEST Doctors in Hernando County - bar none -. She takes her time with you, even at the expense of sacrificing eating her own lunch. SHE CARES!!! She is very knowledgeable and possesses ALL the necessary skills, to include "bedside" manner. I cannot speak highly enough of this Doctor. I wish I were STILL her patient! I have not been about to find her so unfortunately, until I do, I will wander from Doctor to Doctor...please note: I am ONLY Rating the Doctor - NOT the Staff...Thank you!

The BEST thing that I can say about Dr. Markova-Acevedo is that she is the perfect doctor for me and my needs. She listens, gives me all the time I need. She trys to accommodate my special needs and belief in natural and preventative care as much as possible. If she does not have an immediate answer to a problem, she will try her best to come up with one. I feel comfortable and safe in Dr. Markova's care. And that is the BEST thing I can say about any doctor.

Excellent Doctor. She helped save my life twice. She spends any time needed to diagnose your problems and is a great listener. She really does listen to the patient.

I have only had two appointments and did not feel rushed in the least bit. The doctor took the time to answer my questions and made sure that I understood what she was telling me. The doctor paid attention to my concerns and didn't just dismiss what I was telling her. I have gone to doctors in the past that start out really good but after the third visit it seemed like I was just there for my contribution. The office and restroom were very clean and the staff was great. Everything is good so far so I hope I'm not disappointed in the future.
