Ehrentraud Johanna Eichelbaum's Online Review Report Card

Awful. My mother was excited to see a female Spanish speaking doctor right around the corner of her home. Well, in 2/3 visits with Dr. E, she was only present at 1 of them. No communication from the office letting my 74 yo mom know she would have to see another doctor, who wasn't female or who spoke her primary language. Getting hold of anyone in the office is nearly impossible, no one returns your message and was on hold for 45 minutes yesterday before I was hung up on. Nelly the 'office manager' did not apologize at all for all of the mix-ups or hold times, she just went ahead and scheduled another tele-health visit in order for my mom to get her blood work results! Just awful customer service, impossible to speak to a live person and no one seems to care. We are switching practices after 3 awful visits. DO NOT GO HERE AS YOU WILL SURELY BE DISAPPOINTED! TRUST ME.

Dr. Eichelbaum, is very thorough doctor and takes time to listen to her patients. Her bedside manners are awesome. She is also my mother’s doctor and have been very good with my mothers care. She is very sweet,respectful but to the point. I feel Dr. E. Is an excellent doctor.

My visit with this doctor was very comfortable. I know there isn’t A lot of female practitioners in my area, So, I looked for one who speak my language (Spanish, that’s my native language), Since it’s a lot easier to understand medical terms specially when it’s in your own language. Her explanations on my conditions were thorough. She was friendly, and took her time with me. I appreciated that a lot!

I was very happy with the doctor. Treated me well, answered all my questions, took the time to explain everything to me, and allowed me to explain my situation also. It was a little bit difficult to get my appointment, since the phones are not answered in a timely basis. But after I got my appointment, I was very happy to see her. The office is small, I must say, but the overall atmosphere is OK. I will definitively will come back.

I’m saddened to write this because I have seen so many great reviews on Dr. Ehrentraud Eichelbaum, MD, that’s the reason I picked this doctor in the beginning. The office or her I’m not sure is so unorganized, I’ve had paperwork that I had to literally get myself because everything is everywhere, paperwork that was supposed to be sent to me was never sent, labs that were supposed to be called were never called. I never receive call backs on what I needed at the time. I had to have some bloodwork taken and the original test the Dr requested didn’t even get faxed over, she also called me a coward when I was getting a pap which is just not right at all. The doctor is all over the place and the facility isn’t clean, I really don’t understand where these great reviews come from. Avoid this doctor in my opinion. I’m irritated with the confusion and everything. I will not return.
