Dr. Trope is compassionate, knowledgeable, and patient. He does a great job at explaining the reasoning behind needed procedures and how certain factors can correlate with whatever issues you may be experiencing. Highly recommend!

Because of his glowing reviews on this site and the complex gastrointestinal issues I am experiencing, I waited a long time to obtain an appointment with this specific physician. Dr. Trope was the most uncaring and dismissive doctor I have ever seen. No exam, no review of prior history, no ability to listen to concerns. I left the office with no possible diagnosis or suggestions for further treatment. Save your time and money and find someone else.

I was extremely pleased with everything…office personnel delightful to work with as was Dr. Trope. He asked questions, allowed me to, and the procedure prep and the procedure itself went flawlessly !

Dr. Trope and his staff are professional, courteous knowledgeable and caring. I have absolute trust in their judgement and decision-making. Dr. Trope really listens and explains things thoroughly. He cured my spouse of a life threatening C-diff episode. He has navigated me through various conditions and procedures and acts with urgent caution. He is top notch!

We got referred to Dr. Trope because my husband had lost 25 lbs in a very short period of time. Dr. Trope recommended doing a stool and blood sample first, which my husband did. Blood and stool sample costed us USD 800!!! and we were told that Dr. Tropes office would call us once the results are ready. We waited 5 days. No results. Meanwhile my husband's condition got worse and he kept losing weight so we decided to check with Dr. Trope directly to get the results, as by now we had waited for 7 days and had paid USD 800 for the analysis and around USD300 for the first appointment. As Dr.Trope was not on that day we had to talk to a technician who seemed to not care at all. Every single question we asked she answered with "I don't know", and she made absolutely no effort to help us. When we told her that we needed help urgently as my husband had lost 25 lbs she said "I cannot say I am sorry for you as you are so skinny now and I am trying to lose weight..." We left the office totally shocked and never returned. That was 2 months ago. We are still waiting for the results. Meanwhile my husband was diagnosed with colon cancer by another doctor who really cares, and he receives treatment.
