The emergency department took excellent care of me, had me in and out within only 3.5 hours which is the fastest ER visit I’ve ever heard of and in that time I had labs, an ultrasound, a cat scan, and a swab. Very pleased with how everyone treated me and the overall efficiency.

We moved here from Indiana to allow my special needs son to have a better quality of life. But apparently the case management team at this hospital does not feel that my son deserves to have the same quality of life that everybody else does. The case manager Lorraine decided to go outside of her scope of her job and ask me why did I move to Florida and that I should consider moving back to Indiana because …Well let’s just say it, she doesn’t wanna do her her job to find him placement or help at home. I think this is completely out of line and disrespectful on every level. What I have gone through to try to give my son a better quality of life is something most people will never go through in their lifetime and this lady needs to rethink her job position. I filed a complaint against her and she continues to work there and she has continued to demean me again by hanging up on me when I had to talk to her about my sons discharge

*Do Not Go To Cape Coral Hospital*I went to the ER with food poisoning and was on the verge of passing out. Nobody would help me and I felt like the nurses were talking down to me and were extremely disrespectful and even laughed at me. The hospital was not that busy and the nurses were all hanging out at the nurses station having there own convo and was mad I interrupted asking for help. I left and went to Healthpark and got admitted right away and got the proper care I needed. Trust the reviews and go somewhere else. Any hospital is better than this one!

I started out in the ER with stomach pain, the staff got me back quickly and attended to me in a timely manner, my husband stayed with me the whole time. From the nurses to the radiology staff everyone was friendly, attentive and caring. I was then moved upstairs for surgery the next morning to have my appendix removed. Dr. Berbiglia had come down to the ER to explain what was going on, she answered all questions I had and was patient. While upstairs the staff were again caring, attentive and patient to answer any questions I had. After surgery I was taken well care of and the Drs made sure to check on me daily to see how I was doing and answer questions. My discharge went smoothly and was done in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Cape Coral Hospital.
