I have to say it is refreshing to find a doctor that truly cares. Dr. Fernandez listens to my concerns and is very personable.

First time having procedures by dr. Fernandez. I was having problems with my two day prep and dehydration . dr. Fernandez was very accommodating in going the extra mile to fit my procedure in earlier (one day) Hooked me up to iv for few hours until a procedure room became available.

I have been visiting gastroenterologist for almost 40 years with chronic bowel problems. When my long time gastroenterologist retired, dr. Fernandez was recommended as one of the doctors who is taking over. Dr. Fernandes is very well informed on Gastro intestinal issues. As a very well informed patient I am able to say this as a fact. He is extremely thorough, comes in, having completely reviewed my record and gives me information about my condition to make me understand things much more clearly. He is kind, respectful of his patient's concerns, and clearly has their best interest at heart. I am a complicated patient who has had to navigate a lot of my medical issues on my own, but I feel for the first time I have a plan for my care that is palatable. Thank you, Dr. Fernandez.

I knew I needed to move on after reading his notes: “Patient thinks she has ALPS (don’t know why she thinks this) or she believes it’s her treatment for RA. “ if he had actually listened to me, he’d know how I came up with that! When I saw him in Feb & he said he didn’t believe it was Gastro & I believed him & I started going thru all my records & bloodwork & I was ready to show them to him. He wasn’t interested. After 22 years of being sick, some doctors are willing to look at what you have & some aren’t. it took me 4 months to figure out I have RA. It took a Dr 15 months, w/me laying it out for him. We don’t know LONG term effects from some BIOLOGICS/TNF Blockers, just like we don’t know LONG TERM effects from COVID vaccines He said he would give me a referral to Immunologist. When I looked at paperwork when I left, it had RA on it. The office said later there wasn’t a referral.. I knew I had appts w/other specialists & they would listen & look at what I laid out. They did!

Check in was quick and efficient. Office Staff and Nurses were friendly. Dr Fernandez is thoughtful, listens and explains conditions well. I would recommend his office.
