Dunnett C. Durando Do's Online Review Report Card

I questioned a small spot on my face in case it was cancerous. I was told that it wasn't cancerous and that she can zap it off if I wanted but never told me that the crater it would leave on my face was way worse than the spot. Then I got the bill. It's awful knowing that I have to pay for what she did to my face. Never again. It's not about the patient, it's about the money. Had I known it wasn't covered I would've never done it either!

This was my first visit, which is always a little nervous-making. The staff at the desk were very helpful and friendly. I didn't have to wait long before my name was called. Dr. Durando was very competent and thorough, and made me comfortable during the visit. Her professional attitude made things easier. Her assistant was very helpful, knowledgeable and respectful. If I could make one recommendation it would be for them to smile a little more, be just a little more personable, and that would relax me more. But overall I was happy with the visit and will go back. April 2019: Just had my second visit. I don't usually write a second review after a second visit but I am so impressed by Dr Durando and her staff. They are kind, professional and competent and really make you feel like they respect you and want to keep you healthy. If you are searching for a top notch dermatologist, try this office. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Nov 2020 and May 2021: Back again! I brought my husband too and they saw us back to back. I am still patting myself on the back for finding the perfect doctor. Dr. Durando is thorough without being aggressive, she is caring and professional. I used to worry that it would be embarrassing to be examined, but I never feel that way here. I've been able to shed my doctor anxiety completely with Dr. Durando. And I am healthier for it!

I love Dr. Durando. She is very professional and gives me a thorough exam. She always explains what she is looking for. After the exam she will tell me if further testing or procedures are necessary. She does not rush you out of the office and does not mind answering all my questions. Unlike other dermatology offices Riverchase does not push patients to buy products or sign up for cosmetic procedures, I highly recommend Dr. Durando!

Worst and most painful experience ever! Will never go back!

I have had many botox injections between my eyebrows from different dermatologists because i have a bad habit of frowning to the point of getting headaches. They are supposed to Inject deep into the muscles to temporarily paralyze them. I feel crunching like breaking eggshells while injected by qualified doctors. I made an appointment with Riverchase Dermatology & they gave me Dr. Dunett Durando. I asked her if she injects deep into the muscle. She said "Yes" so I said "OK". She pinched my skin & pricked it so quickly that made me wonder if anything at all was being injected. $390.00 & my skin is a little frozen but I can still frown with my muscles which causes more pain. She made me worse! I wrote her a letter asking for a refund. DENIED!!!

Excellent dermatologist. Explains all treatments needed.

Dr. Durando is awesome! She is a caring, compassionate human being. She is always very through with my examinations. Prior my most recent appointment I was going through a personal crisis. I started crying during my exam. She initially thought she had hurt me. When I told her why I was crying, she held my hand and let me cry out my grief to her. She stayed with me until I could compose myself.

Dr. Durando and her staff are great. When I met with her, she made me feel comfortable and scan all my body to make sure I don't have any other issues. I've been dealing with a skin tag on my eyelid that was starting to bother my vision and had concerns over couple moles and she took her time and explained everything and took care of it on the same visit. I definitely recommend anyone dealing with skin issues to see her!
