Horrible, untrustworthy, egomaniac. He pretends to be caring but he's a narcissistic egomaniac who won't take any accountability for his mistakes. He also lies. He's a renowned face transplant specialist, but don't go to him for anything cosmetic. He'll rip you off and mess it up.

RUN RIGHT NOW AND DON’T LOOK BACK. YOULL THANK ME LATER. It really doesn’t stock me to see all these negatives review of this arrogant and condescending doctor. I only wished there was these many reviews when I started treatment with him back in 2014. He had just started treating patients in NYC and he was so renowned due to his facial transplants. But let’s me honest you can’t compare an aesthetic surgery with a facial transplant. I’m only writing this review because if I can save one person from suffering like I have it is all worth it to me. At first he was so charming and caring. Once I had my main surgery this doctor had the worst bedside manners ever didn’t show up until a week later. Then I start developing an infection. He was so nonchalant about it until I started adding pressure then refers me to another doctor do the surgery. After having 2 surgeries with the other doctor at the 3rd surgery he steps in and makes a scar in my face and makes my nose crooked. Then has no empathy whatsoever. ( total narcissistic) his staff was so irresponsible. I had to stay on top of them the entire time to get anything done. They would cancel a surgery the day before for things like my insurance didn’t authorize the surgery. But from my understanding aren’t they suppose to request the approval prior to booking the surgery date. And if not they had more than enough time because I would wait months to a year to get a surgery done. After 4 surgeries and 2 cancellations I decided I had enough and cut all tides with this doctor being half way through my medical treatment. Now my face is butchered up and with a scar worst than I went in. I’ve developed severe depression and anxiety because of this doctor. He is such a nasty human being I can’t believe I actually fell into his hands. He has ruined my life. He should definitely take accountability for his actions.

If you are considering FFS with Eduardo Rodriguez at NYU - DON’T DO IT! He botched my face requiring me to need multiple revisions. My forehead contouring is asymmetrical with one side higher than the other, as noted by my revision surgeon. I need a revision brow lift because one brow is significantly lower than the other. Which I noticed immediately after surgery and like all bad doctors they blamed it on “swelling.” I need a revision rhinoplasty because I developed a polly beak formation and there is a loose bone fragment floating around in my radix, and the list goes on. I’m having all revisions done with another surgeon because Eduardo Rodriguez is an arrogant, dismissive, egotistical tyrant who will not take any of your questions or concerns into consideration. His office will refuse to show you any work he’s performed and they do not do computer imaging to show you a possible outcome of your procedures. He will also try to perform as many procedures as your insurance company will allow him to bill. My advice is to never allow any surgeon to do more than 3 procedures at one time because they will not give each procedure the time and attention it needs. Not to mention the fact that each surgeon has their strengths and weaknesses. Meaning, just because a surgeon is known for performing a face transplant for FUNCTIONALITY doesn’t mean he can pull off an AESTHETICALLY pleasing rhinoplasty. You may need to see multiple doctors for each procedure they are best at doing for your transition. Don’t make the same mistake I did. RUN whenever you see or hear Eduardo Rodriguez’s name.

Unpleasant, uncaring and grossly incompetent. Should have his medical license revoked. Proof that board certification means absolutely nothing.

This unholy scoundrel referred me to his colleague and buddy, Dr. Barry "The Butcher" Zide. They are both highly unethical and both surgically inept. Avoid them both.

A horrible waste of time. I had one consult with him and I seriously recommend you look elsewhere! He has no before or after photos for a reason. If you ask him too many questions about results he gets offended and claims that 99% of his patients are satisfied. However I have been coming across plenty of negative reviews about him. Seems like I dodged a bullet.

Gifted, amazing doctor. There is no one better in the world for microsurgery. After two surgeries, he saved my life.
