List of Elite Dna Therapy Services Cape Coral's Reviews
I was a client there for about 5 years. Ever since I started therapy I have always been insured. I lost my job therefore causing me to lose insurance, so I stopped going. Now all of a sudden I'm getting automatically billed for appointments that didn't "approve" 6 months ago. I'm not in a good place because of therapy. Why didn't they tell me before I quit going. It's funny, therapy is ruining my life
Called 5x's in the last couple of weeks. Left all my information for a return call and still no call back. If ever I need to increase my meds now is the time. This is both annoying and a waste of time. Get it figured out Elite DNA
I have no complaints about the treating provider for my son but the office staff experience is terrible. I do not recommend this company if their front line staff comes off as monotone and rude especially in the mental health field.
If you want a lecture in lieu of help then go to these people. Spent 90 minutes for an intake and they offered no solution other than to lecture. The quality of care was horrendous! The care was subpar and I would avoid!
I care I've got here is good and I feel that the doctors are concerned and on top of my needs. The office staff seem a bet off. Sometimes they are on the ball and other times I feel they have lost my records. I'm glad they have moved closer to me and my travel time is much shorter.
Very friendly staff, the text messaging system that they use makes checking in very easy.
I have been a patient for the last 5 years. From time to time I have trouble getting my prescriptions filled at the local Publix and then have to call the office for assistance. Gizzel Lopez has always gone out of her way to assist me navigate what seems to be an ongoing issue with Publix. This is what many practices here in Florida are missing "Patient advocacy". The personal approach!!! Thank you Gizzel you are a welcome surprise... This is for the Cape Coral Office
Communication is low priority and if you need a medication refill, you may or may not receive it. My daughter did receive good care from the person she was referred to, however a medication was recommended so I consented. It did help. What I found to be completely unprofessional and negligent was when my daughter needed a refill, and the pharmacy did request it, it was never ok'd. I called and requested it as well and I received no response. I requested an appointment, also no return call. When I finally was able to speak to someone, they admitted that they could see I had called and messaged also in the patient portal, but no apology and they would not ok the refill because the Dr. had to do that - so frustrating. Dr. Todd has no sense of urgency at all. So in the meantime, my daughter was out of her medication and we had no way to get it - and no guidance on how to stop taking it safely. Her family physician gave me guidance and although she was dizzy and didn't feel well she ended up just fine. However when we finally were able to see Dr. Todd, she had no idea what we went through and the televisit only lasted about 5 minutes because my daughter and I decided we didn't need this stress over the medication and we didn't want any more appointments. ( and by this time she had completely withdrawn from the med ) Still, they charged me for that televisit which did absolultely nothing, and was of no benefit to my daughter at all. I looked up Elite DNA on the BBB, which they are not a member, however still they have a D- rating. Ironic that this is a mental health facility and the place will give you mental health problems from trying to get help.
This company or location in my opinion is simply too irresponsible and disorganized to be conducting business in the medical profession. My son has been seeing a Doctor at Elite for quite some time and eventually he was prescribed a medication that's costs upwards of $600. Insurance requires a form to be filled out prior to authorizing the medication. We requested the form to be filled out but it was never completed by his Dr. Eventually his doctor went on vacation without sending the form.... We were told it was being worked on, completed, sent, etc - but it wasn't. Then we were told the Dr filling in would be completing the form and were told the form was being worked on, or sent, etc - but it wasn't. Nothing happened. In total, we have been trying to get this done for over a week and my son has been out of medicine this entire time. We have been lied to, mislead. Eventually, I went into the office where there are no physicians working or available. Nobody is on call covering for anyone else, and nobody actually knows what is happening because there is no concise record keeping. We were told his primary Dr was "sick", "off", "on vacation", etc - somehow various stories all within a week. Then we were told the Doctor R was "off", but then we were told he was in the hospital. The woman at the front desk on the second floor was extremely rude and abrasive and her accent was so thick that I simply could not understand her. When I would ask what she said, she would roll her eyes and became rude for my entire visit. One of the Therapist, Margaret, came to the lobby with 4 other waiting patients to ask what the issue was - expecting me to discuss patient specifics in earshot of others waiting. Then she took the information down and said she would be right back......but she never came back.....and when I asked for her I was told she was busy with patients, even though she told me she would be right back. In summary, this location or company does not take medicine seriously, will lie to you, will discuss medical issues in front of other patients, and has no sense of urgency regarding prescription refills for medicines that they prescribed in the first place. They seemingly have become so accustomed to lying that they cannot keep their own lies straight. Do NOT depend on this location.
No one picks up the phone, the are several unorganized, if you're looking for help - this place will give you more problems - stay far far away. I've requested appointments online, never gotten back to, you have to checkin and fill out your info every time you have an appointment which is very inconvenient. I saw someone for meds at first and they asked if I wanted therapy I told them I've had bad experiences in the past and wouldn't want to start again and have the same thing happen. They ensured me he was just starting and was great. I decided I should try and after a month of seeing him they call and tell me he's no longer there. what a waste of time. so many things - do not go here - they don't care about you.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
