List of Emergency Care - Cape Coral Hospital's Reviews
We moved here from Indiana to allow my special needs son to have a better quality of life. But apparently the case management team at this hospital does not feel that my son deserves to have the same quality of life that everybody else does. The case manager Lorraine decided to go outside of her scope of her job and ask me why did I move to Florida and that I should consider moving back to Indiana because …Well let’s just say it, she doesn’t wanna do her her job to find him placement or help at home. I think this is completely out of line and disrespectful on every level. What I have gone through to try to give my son a better quality of life is something most people will never go through in their lifetime and this lady needs to rethink her job position. I filed a complaint against her and she continues to work there and she has continued to demean me again by hanging up on me when I had to talk to her about my sons discharge
Cape Coral - ED. Dr. Perry is extremely rude and has horrible bedside manner. She has no regard for her patients or why they are in the ER - to get seen and treated.Deb Charge Nurse was much more compassionate and willing to assess the situation and come up with a solution.Just to think we chose to drive the extra hour for this hospital when we have others to choose from. I will not be returning to this hospital again.
Thank you to everyone involved in my surgery today. You all were so friendly, professional and put me at ease from the moment I arrived. Thank you.
First time my son went they were great. The second time it was a different doctor and the were so ride. The doctor there tells the nurse food for him that his hands and feet are turning yellow. How unprofessional and lack of compassion. I do not recommed this place.
I am forever thankful for the entire 3rd Floor West team! The RN, CNA team were amazing, caring, compassionate and dedicated to their job! The doctors were all great! Dr. Bello, Dr.Das, thank you!
My coworkers make me feel like they are family. Also want our guests to feel cared ABOUT, as well as cared FOR!
So grateful for the excellent staff on the OB unit. My daughter came in to triage, Supervisor, Liz, hooked her up and identified an issue. She discussed with Dr.Leo, and she was promptly admitted. Nurse Becky took over and took excellent care of her. She responded quickly to another sign of baby distress and the staff kept them both safe. An emergency C-Section was needed. Both are healthy and happy. Thank you for your excellent care!
Absolutely awful place. Everyone is slow and standing around. This place is a joke should be called a circus not a hospital
I want everyone to listen to what this review says. I am a 20 year old living with a kidney disease. In January 2021 I was rushed to the emergency room because of a sharp pain every time i inhaled. Off the bat I had to wait for at least 4 hours before i could get a room which is understandable due to covid but these people did not once try to ease my pain and worked extremely slow to find me help. The pain grew as the time i spent in the waiting room prolonged. I had to be wheeled outside because apparently i was “causing a disturbance with the kids around.” The people working were extremely rude and with attitudes the entire time i was waiting. When i finally was able to get a room they asked me what was wrong, took some x-rays, gave me a pill for my pain, and hooked me on an Iv. I stayed there overnight and not once was i able to see a doctor or have anyone tell me what was wrong with me. My mom ended up having to call my actual doctor and transferring me to a hospital that actually takes care of their patients. We unfortunately could not go there due to it being all the way in fort myers and my pain would not allow me to go all the way over there. We honestly should of just went considering how long i had to wait anyways. Come May 2021 i received my bill for the emergency room visit which was a total of 18 thousand dollars. They were charging for things that i did not even receive. When my mom called the hospital to figure out the charges the lady on the phone AND I QUOTE, “Maybe you should think twice before going to the emergency room.” This hospital is filled with rude and unprofessionalism. They don’t care the slightest about patients and only care about their paycheck and robbing from people. I would highly suggest going to a different hospital for anything. This place is also extremely filthy.
I’m in the waiting room for 3 hours. I tell them I can’t feel my lower half and can not go to the bathroom. I guess they feel it’s not important as they hung up on my husband who is wondering why I’m in the waiting room

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
