Dr. Gloster performed some MOH’s surgery on me. As soon as he entered the room and introduced himself, he put me at ease. He kept me at ease by carrying on casual conversation during the procedure and before I knew it he was done. He even called the next morning to see how I was doing. Great doctor and staff.

Today I was at the VA Medical center in Cinci Oh and I asked about Dr. Hugh M Gloster Jr and was told he moved to Florida. Our loss, their gain. Dr Hugh performed and surgery on me and supervised another time at the VA. He does excellent work and has very good bedside manners. I just wanted to say hi to a very deserving person. In search (Google) I found more history on this man and see that it is in his family to provide 'excellent' service and quality education. It was a pleasure having him as my doctor. thanks, MM

I love my regular dermatologist, but last Spring when I had a cancer next to my left eye, he sent me to his partner, Dr. Gloster, for Mohs surgery. The day before my surgery, I jokingly mentioned it to my dental hygienist (she was apologizing for a rigorous cleaning, and I assured her I was facing much worse the next day), and she told me a horror story about her mother's Mohs surgery. So I was apprehensive when I arrived at Dr. Gloster's office--but for nothing! Mohs surgery is just a more precise form of the regular surgery (smaller margins, as Dr. Gloster put it), and the doctor and his staff were superb. No pain or discomfort, and instead of the rigid stillness I thought would be necessary with a scalpel millimeters from my eye, the doctor encouraged a warm, relaxing conversation (scuba diving, Florida history, etc.) while he worked. I've experienced both world-class medicine (Wilmer Eye Clinic in Maryland, among others) and regular, mediocre, medicine in my life. Dr. Gloster definitely ranks in the former category. Actually, he went beyond world-class by calling personally the next day to ask how I was doing--something I believe he does routinely based on other reviews.
