List of Lee Health Internal Medicine's Reviews
I have been a frequent patient of the lab for this location and they are great. The phlebotomists are top notch. Expert, compassionate and friendly.
This review is for the location at Cape Coral Hospital, the Obstetrics and Gynecologist! They have horrible! manners, I’ve been on the phone on hold to refill a prescription over 25 minutes and no one has answered!!! Not even to say “good morning, how can I help or please hold” I would not recommend it!!! I can drive over and get there before they answer and then they’ll have to acknowledge me! I will be hanging up in another minute!
Everyone is truly friendly. I have a few things to share with the medical crew
After reading a paper from Lee Health entitled “Cannabis use disorder” (which does NOT EXIST) And reading the so called warning signs, it’s obvious that your staff needs further education on the subject. We are in a time where the medical community (including you Lee Health) has aided in the current opioid crisis, and there exists a Natural, virtually risk free way to help people heal, ease pain, and generally feel better and you’re still preaching the lies that we have heard for 70 years! Shame on you!
I visited a facility for physical therapy one time from a doctors referral for an initial visit where I was told my copay was going to be $80. The therapist gave me some really good exercises to do at home and I went on my way. I just got the bill for what the hospital is charging my insurance. $473 for about 45 minutes. $10.5 per minute for one person to give me some instruction. My specialist visits are much less than that. I will do what I can not to visit a Lee Health facility again.
Please pat the clergyman on the back for a job well done at the fallen officers funeral
Trying to establish a relationship with a new doctor after moving here 2 years ago. Thought we had one with Lee Health but to see that doctor again for a well visit they are telling me I can't have an appointment until next March. Very sad that you're (a) not at all interested in keeping an established patient, and (b) apparently want to punish people for trying to take advantage of well visits they are entitled to through their insurance. Aren't we supposed to try to be proactive with our healthcare?
My husband Micheal Milligan was admitted to the orthopedic floor 2nd floor to have surgery 8/16/2018 he asked everyday needs like drinks shower a walk And they replied polices and regulation garbage so he asked when will I be able to receive some comfort they replied they don’t know so he settled to eat lunch he called for the nurse to use the bathroom she made him wait so long that he walk to bathroom with his monitors in hand to go he got tanlgeled and struggled to get back to bed she comes walking in with a stern what are you doing and he replied I went to the bathroom she then proceeds to raise her voice and says you can’t walk without help and he he apologized to his nurse and she said ok just don’t do it anymore. My husband said they were very hostile and very theatning and were very quick to comment with verbal threats like telling him they were going to call security, they said if you don’t like it you can just leave also telling him he will have to recheck in though emergency room He had exhausted all his efforts to make his stay more comfortable he left the hospital he comes home to take a shower and have somthing to drink.I hope my review gets some one to look into this very disturbing matter with this hospital.
My 18 year old step daughter came to the Cape Coral Hospital to get a CT Scan. She had the scan performed. During the visit that day she was never told how much money this would cost. The tech who performed the scan told her not to worry about it- insurance is covering the cost. Again no prices were discussed. A month later a bill comes in the mail for almost $5,000.00. The the total amount of the bill was almost $9,000.00. Insurance covers the $4,000.00 difference. There website states this CT Scan is $5,000.00. Yet our total bill is $9,000.00. And Lee Health claims they are Non- Profit. This is obviously not the case. Money Hungry.... what a rip-off. Taking advantage of the young people of the world. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!
I saw a Lee Physician Group physician at the Lee Health Center on Bass Rd. Imagine my shock when I not only received a bill from the physician, but also from Lee Health for the privilege of seeing one of their physicians in one of their buildings. Isn't this double dipping? Or a violation of the Stark Act? What other doctor gets to charge you a professional service fee and then turn around and have the "landlord" who, by the way, also controls the physician, bill YOU rather than the physician for the use of the building. And let me be clear - this was a simple office visit. No tests. No use of instruments. Nothing. I didn't get undressed. The physician didn't even have to touch me. It was simply a routine medication check.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
