Pleasantly surprised at how knowledgeable and efficient he was. He spoke with me first, answered my questions and then gloved up and examined me. He removed a growth on my face and told me what it was. Got a pamphlet on it and left happy and relieved that it was not serious. I do recommend him. Staff was super helpful too! Had trouble booking online and they saw my phone number on their website and called to see if I needed help with booking. Amazing. It's like they read my mind! Great customer service!

Despite some poor reviews, I really like this guy. He spoke to me, and answered all my questions and removed a growth on my face. I was not rushed and of course he wore gloves. Very suspicious of the poor reviews and it's doubtful he deserved those.

I have been going to Dr. Varghese for 20 years. He immediately diagnosed and fully removed my basal cell cancer after another dermatologist told me that there was no cancer there. Over the years, he has also removed several benign lesions at my request. None of them have left a lasting scar. I trust him.

When I called to make the appointment, they told me that my appt was with dr George Varghese; dr Mathews son. His office is on the Upper West Side, unlike hi father on the east side. So I get to the appointment and they tell me I need to leave so I quickly get back in the car, across town. I’m finally seen by the dr, I was appalled! His accent was so heavy I could barely understand him. He had a terrible attitude. Didn’t listen to any of my symptoms but would prescribe any meds! (Even unrelated)

I spent more than 12 years of visits to doctors and tried many prescribed and off-the-shelf medications resulting in very little improvement for my severe bodily itch. But about 2 months ago I consulted Dr. Mathew Varghese who quickly recommended medications that have resulted in a huge improvement. I unhesitatingly and strongly recommend Dr. Varghese as a courteous, empathetic and highly skilled doctor.
