Within the last year I switched from my longtime g.I. To Dr.Lepane. Since then I’m always amazed at how fast they respond and work with you, it’s wonderful! I’m so happy with them!

Dr. CHARLENE LEPANE is an excellent doctor who is both extremely kind and knowledgeable. She is an exceptional person and the best Dr. I had. Thank you!

I personally love Dr. Lepane. She is an incredibly smart doctor and has a fantastic personality. However, when I saw her a few years back she said she ran every test possible ... fast forward to a few years later and we find out that her team never got some of the test results back and she missed a test which I ended up testing positive for. I understand that things happen. However, the reason for the 1 star is due to her team. I spend weeks on end trying to get an answer from anyone on the team many times going without resolution. She also books up 6months out, which I understand that she is a popular doctor for a reason. However, the teams response in working with me to get in at a certain point was terrible. This review is for the disconnect in communication particularly with the Medical Assistant and willingness to truly follow up.

I had an initial virtual appointment with Dr. Lepane on May 10, 2021. The appointment very well and I was thrilled to finally find a doctor that was going to get to the bottom of my IBS issues. They do not return phone calls. I’m moving on. Problems not resolved.

Had a colonoscopy and an endoscopy and was told to call for a follow up visit in 2 weeks. Was told no appointments to see her until January 26 2022. 3 months after procedures. Haven't even been given my biopsy results. Not a hsppy patient.

Dr LePane did my very first colonoscopy. I’m a chicken and had delayed having one done. It was a very positive experience. Everyone was kind and eased my nerves. When I woke up, from my very refreshing nap, Dr L explained her findings and next steps. I would highly recommend this Dr!

Very horrible experience been trying to get ahold of the office for the last 5 days an appointment was made for me without my consent I've been trying to reach the office to discuss certain aspects since I am the new patient and no one returns phone calls you always get me helper system that's scheduled an appointment not the best on first impressions

I was so happy with my Televisit with Dr Lapene. She was very thorough, ordered all tests Stat and explained her plan for my treatment but once the visit ended...so did the good service. My stat MRI was scheduled for 2 weeks later. After doing the MRI I contacted the office MA Natalie she said she would speak to the doctor and get back to me...she hasn't to this day. They just stopped taking my calls...I had to schedule an appointment with another GI to pick up where they left off. I just hope and pray this delay in care is not detrimental. It's a shame a good doctor has such terrible staff😞

Had an endoscopy with Lepane. Never called back after numerous calls to the office. Results of her findings were given to me a month later by another doctor on my second procedure. Avoid her if possible, had to repeat endoscopy because hers was the incomplete. Avoid Her!

It is no surprise to me to see the similar reviews as I am about to post here. The office staff is a complete circus, lack respect for the patients, and will take weeks to call you back to schedule an appointment. I had to contact their office over 15 times to get a call back. They also told me one of my blood lab work orders was in network and it was actually not and is costing me over $690. I have been in a constant battle with the blood work company called Prometheus so just know what you are getting into. I had an endoscopy and colonoscopy a week ago where Dr. lapene said she would communicate with the Nurse practitioner on what medicine she would want me on and have a new game plan for me. The reason I met with the nurse practicioner is because the only follow up date they had for me to speak to Dr lapene was in three months. No thank you .... the nurse practitioner who has been the kindest and must understanding soul had no new information for me and it’s apparent there is a HUGE lack of communication here. It is very sad because I definitely do respect Dr. Lapene. She is very smart, but her business practices and way of doing business is not even average. And it really should be exceeding everyone’s expectations for such a well known hospital. It is very disappointing to have such lack of a solid GI doctor network in the celebration hospital. If anyone has a new doctor they are going to, please let me know. Also PS the only way to get anything done is if you go in and ask to speak to an office manager.
