If I could give zero stars, I would. The staff at this office, from the front desk to the clinical team, are the most incompetent group of people I have ever encountered. I was given misinformation on multiple occasions, resulting in a complete waste of my time and money. When it came time to rectify their mistake, I got transferred so many times I felt like a robot repeating the same thing to each person that I spoke with. I understand that most places are understaffed, but this experience was unacceptable. The incompetence is embarrassing.

Be nice if they returned calls or answered to schedule appointments. Nope. Ridiculous need to schedule my 6 month and for two weeks haven't been able. I would be embarrassed if I were this office manager.

Excellent. I had DS surgery by him in late 2018. At the time I weight 568lbs @ 5'10. Now, in 2021, I weight 200lbs. The surgery went flawlessly and my recovery was super easy. His office/staff has always been available to answer questions and their support continues til this day. Could not recommend him more!

Doctor and employees I want to thank you all for being so kind. Thank you, for saving my life and keeping me encouraged. Thank you, for never making me feel like a burden. In September, I was having abdominal pain,1st E.R. told me get fix now not later.By a Bairatric surgeon, there are only 2 docs that can do it. On my, 5th visit to E.R , was for the doc to fix me. He would not hear or see me. I thank God for the team at Celebration and the medical groups that assisted. Finally, I went to Celebration HAD CT SCAN Dr. SMITH'S P.A., read it off i went to surgery. Were they not only fixed the 1st r and y, but SAVED MY LIFE!

Let me start by saying that all the ladies in the office are wonderful. Now when it comes to Karen, Marta and Dr. Smith I have to say that they have been the worst people I have ever dealt with. Very unprofessional. They have had me jumping thru hoops for 8 month and evey time is something new. You call them and they don't respond. My insurance has approved it 2 month ago but they say that insurance has not return their request with is false. Good luck to anybody using this doctors office.

I had Duodenal Switch surgery by Dr. Smith in 2008. He was kind, courteous and REALLY cared about my situation. I was 317 lbs. and miserable. I now weight 176 and have weighed that(give or take 5 lbs. for the past 9 years. I would recommend him HIGHLY.

Dr. Dennis C. Smith is the best gastric doctor in his field of practice. I had my Roux en Y gastric bypass in Atlanta, GA, ten years ago and it's the best doctor & decision I ever made in my life. Dr. Smith was the first to do the lyproscopic duodenal switch, which is a great procedure for those 200+ overweight. I lost to my goal of 130 & lost 125 lbs. I'm sad GA has lost Dr. Smith; however, FL has gained a top-notch gastric surgeon!!! I highly recommend him. He's super smart!!! Check out his education!!!

Dr Smith does not hesitate, in my experience, to fire clients with whom he disagrees, with no input from the patient.
