I just realized it’s been over 15 years since Dr.Z did my surgeries. I am still pain free and active. Thank you so much. I always recommend you, I always will. You changed my life for the better!!! I hope you are well! Kerry Hanson
It is very unprofessional. I made the mistake of trusting this Doct in operating on me and I don't know what happened that I'm worse. and to top it off it was withdrawn without notice.
I have a back surgery in 2010 after 2 weeks without ben been able to walk the pain was unbearable 2 ER visits and up to 8 pain pils and muscle relaxers at day. Ater the surgery with dr Z there was No No pain is been more than 10 and to this point there is no pain. He is the best Dr. For back surgery and I recomend him to my family and friends
The best thing he did was retire. Wow! Lousy doctor
Seen him twice. This Dr was a waste of time. Rude unprofessional staff. He did not want to know my name. Did not care about his patient. Him and his staff need to be trained about patients need and concern. The entire team was completely brain washed about money first. Patients second.
Complete waste of 6 hours and $300! Dr Zahrawi only cares about the money don't be fooled. Went for second opinion after 2 years of daily pain and suffering, 2 surgeries and 3 MRI's, Dr Z said people with hernations and pinched nerves "play basketball" all the time. Really? Office staff rude, unorganized and unprofessional. Go back to med school and learn to be compassionate and listen to your customers, sorry patients. Warning, stay away unless you want to end up crippled for life like the majority of the people waiting to see him. Thanks Dr Z.
This doctor from Syria is crabby. Him and his team are among the meanest and money hunger animals alive. Please take your time with your research including the mugshot.
Best doctor around totally happy with his work pain free recommended to others who are completely happy
Wonderful doctor! I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Zahrawi. I send my family, friends and others to him for treatment. He is straightforward, considerate, honest, and the best in the business! He will tell you that it takes time to heal after your surgery. So, be patient and follow his instructions! I never needed pain medication, pain management, or physical therapy after my surgeries, and I am able to ride my stationary bike several miles every day without pain.
I had a spinal fusion l4 and l5 in 5/2014, , immediately after surgery I knew something was not right because I was told I would be able to go home same day. But when they woke me up in recovery I could immediately tell I was not going home, the pain was excruciating and I told the nurse there is no way I could go home. She said she would have to call the D rand it was up to him. Told her I don't care what anybody say I will not be leaving with the level of pain am feeling. Needless to say I spent 2days in hospital and still I did not want to be discharge but was told chance of infection will increase the longer I stayed.so I agreed to leave. For 3 months it seemed ok, but then my back pain got worse. I had told Dr Z nurse from the beginning when getting authorization from insurance for surgery, if they are not going to cover the cost of surgery that I will not do it. Because I am on Social Security and do not have any means to pay Dr. So of course they tell you it's all set and schedule surgery. Now here I am 3mos later and still in pain. I was given my pain meds. By my 6mo follow up, here comes billing telling me they could not schedule me for visit until I made a payment arrangement for services the insurance did not cover. Apparently, this Dr was not even in my network and he did not get paid fully. I was on the Health exchange with Atena when it started. So they knew from the beginning they would not get paid fully. I got a bill for $147,000. Plus dollars, laughable! Then I got a bill for $3000. Plus and one for $481. For services apparently for pre testing before surgery. Now the 2smaller bills are on my credit report but the large one somehow never made it on the report and to this day I don't get billed. It's now 12/2017 I am still in pain management. This Dr have a lot of successful ssurgeries but what about patients like me where it was not successful and I know I am not the only one they did this to. When you can't pay the Dr they will not schedule an appt to even let the Dr know the situation. You become a number to these people. But the Dr have an office manager that I spoke to about being denied an appt because I could not pay those bills. It's a shame how they cut you open and operate, then dismiss you when you can't pay. So basically I was just practice for his minimally invasive surgery.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
