I found Dr. Olivares to be very knowledgeable, caring, and efficient. She is easy to talk to, and not at all condescending, unlike many other doctors. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

Everything about this appointment was a nightmare. The office staff is impossible to get in touch with. They never answer their phones when called and require callers to leave a voicemail. The voicemail promises a call back within 48 hours, but I rarely got a callback at all. The provider performed the wrong type of appointment due to miscommunication between the office staff and herself. This resulted in me the patient having a useless appointment and being billed incorrectly for the routine OB checkup. Additionally, the doctor ordered several tests which she never discussed with me. The strangest thing is the tests were ordered through a speciality doctor with whom the provider is affiliated with, instead of being order through my preferred lab vendor. This caused the cost of the tests to be 3 times more expensive than they should have been. I found out after the fact the provider ordered the tests in violation of Florida statues as she neither informed me she was ordering the tests nor gave me the option to decline them. As a result of all the incorrect billing, I was sent a bill for several hundred dollars more than I should have. I called the office dozens of times trying to correct the billing issue. On the few times I was able to get through to a person, I was told matter of factly the doctor had made no billing mistakes and I would be forced to pay the bill as is and there was no option to fix their mistakes. As a result of this experience, I disputed the service charge with my insurance, reported the provider to the state of Florida, and changed doctors. Once I switched to my new doctor, I found out all the tests which had been ordered through Dr Olivares should have been covered at 100% and the fact that I received any bill was likely due to some interoffice kickback between Dr Olivares's and the specialty doctor she sent the tests too. Do not go to this doctor or office. It is not worth the waste of time and money trying to deal with their unresponsiveness and incorrect billing practices.
