Initial telemed consult appt held on 8/11 based on referral from VA CCP. Report notes that I just received of this telemed appt sent by Dr Handy to my VA PCP and Neurology do not agree with what actually occured during this virtual appt!
Had initial virtual telemed referral consult appt on 8/11 and just saw her report back to my VA PCP. REPORT is grossly inaccurate - never performed the exam outlined in the report page 6!
This doctor is one of the kindest doctors I have ever had. She is always on time! Always takes her time to answer any questions I have, she is very thorough and is a one of a kind doctor. Her staff is wonderful!!!! I would highly recommend her!!!
Dr. Handy is the best! She has helped me completely get my migraines under control and is always up to date with the latest treatments. I am so happy to have found such a compassionate, knowledgeable, and kind doctor.
WORST PLACE TO GO! THEY KEEP CANCELING ON NEW PATIENT. THEY CANCELED ON ME FOR THE FIFTH TIME. I HAVE EPILEPSY! YOU DON'T MESS WITH PATIENTS WHO HAVE IT!
Dr. Handy is amazing. The best neurologist I have ever been to. She actually listens to you instead of throwing various medications at you.
Not only did Dr. Handy spend a ton of time with me, she’s careful in her approach and doesn’t jump straight to treatment you don’t need. Not to mention she personally called me at 7 pm after my appointment to tell me something she forgot to say when I was there.
DO NOT GO TO THIS PHYSICIAN! I Would give her a negative 100 if it was applicable. This Dr. is supposedly trained to handle patients with neurological conditions but instead screams at her patients and berates them in her office. She lies about calling insurance for medication approval instead making the patient suffer in pain and pay out of pocket for very expensive medication when the insurance covers the medication at no cost to the patient. Don’t question that though because she will completely go insane and flip out on you. No wonder she can’t keep staff in her office, she probably flips out on them too. She needs serious help, maybe her own psychiatrist. Dr. Handy, do not reply to this review, this is only one of many I’m positive will come up eventually that will be written on your horrible bedside manner and fraud on patients accounts to get more money from them.
Fabulous experience! I have had migraines my whole life and I have finally found a physician that is not only an expert but listens and cares.
Rude, unstable, lies about calling for prior auth on a covered medication making the patient suffer for months and pay cash for the medication. When questioned flips out and belittles the patient that is in pain suffering in front of her. This woman is not practicing on good morals nor is the account charges done correctly. I have been receiving reimbursement checks from where I was paying bills her office said I owed. I believe she needs to be audited. She also refused initially to hand over my prescription bottle with my name on it that I paid cash for. I had to call the pharmacy to inform her to release the medication I paid for to me by law.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
