I saw Dr. Tozzo in January 2021 to be re-tested for my disability and to receive accommodations through my professional board for my professions exam. Although a nice practitioner, she has refused to fill out the necessary paperwork properly, thus causing problems with me not getting the needed accommodations. Beware!

She is a very honest Dr. She will garner an honest opinion no matter who she is working with. Our local school wanted her to label a child with certain disabilities that the child did not have, so she refused to do what the school wanted. Because she refused to do what the school wanted and did what was in the best interest of the patient; the school no longer uses her. I'm not sure if that's a plus to anyone else but it certainly is in my opinion. She does evaluations for DCF, social security, therapy with children and adults, family therapy, etc. She speaks with the parents before and after she takes the child in for their session. The kids always get a little present at each visit as well. She is a very honest, supportive, caring person, and her reputation is above reproach. You can tell that she isn't in it for the money, the clout, or for any other reasons except that she truly cares.
