Been looking for a great doctor, thank goodness I found Dr Lachance. I was taken back very quickly and didn't have to wait another 30 minutes before he came in, he listened to me, was very patient and professional... highly recommend.

Dr. LaChance was my primary care provider (in Maine) for years. Unfortunately he had to relocate to Florida a couple years ago. Since his departure, the quality of my care (I remained in the same practice) has taken a nosedive. He always sent prompt referrals, was very compassionate and literally would sit and figure the next move in what I needed medically with me. He took EXCELLENT care of me as well as my autistic son. I miss his compassionate care and willingness to help in the battle I was (an still am) fighting after being diagnosed w several rare and complex disorders/disease. To the person who wrote that nasty review about the best doctor I’ve ever had in my life, shame on you. You too are responsible for your own body. Why would you not report those unpleasant side effects to Dr. laChance IMMEDIATELY. I know his nature, he would have discontinued that medication in a snap. I hope you see this Dr LaChance. If you need a witness in any supposed “lawsuit” please let me know. Sounds like this person is going after you financially. Thanks C. Wiley-Farwell

best family doctor i have had in 15 years hope he comes back to Minot Family Medicine soon

Appointment was rushed and medical notes were not correct. It took 15 minutes just to correct all the errors in the computer and then he shook my dads hand and dismissed him.

This man literally cost me my life. I was given “gabapentin” rebranded from Neurontin as a “mood stabilizer” because I lived in pain following double pe’s & the location I’m STILL stuck caused dehydration. I’ve got PTSD from 2 days of driving & dying in a rural area. In front of him I gained about 90 lbs & my life was like I had a labotomy! Class action law suits galore. That’s a seizure med a perfectly healthy woman NEVER needed. It stole 13 yrs of my life. I was left on that poison six years as he & so many other pop up docs in Bay County do. STAY AWAY & triple check your own drugs. I had a former successful corporate career & was a rising Sr. at FSU. Gabapentin & trying to force me onto antidepressants I NEVER needed destroyed my life, finances, relationships, dreams, hopes & he moves around and I was left here “drooling” now also 2 mild seizures getting off of that crap DID cause seizures, brain & chest zaps. Maybe he’ll at least know he might as well let me die. He destroyed my body & life. I doubt he would’ve done that to a man.

Husband went in for a physical which he hasn't had in a few years. No Blood pressure, pulse, no vitals were done, and the whole appointment lasted 10 mins. Not very impressed.

Dr Lachance is one of the best in the area. His efficient, knowledgeable manner can make you feel hurried, but it is only because he is so competent.

Sadly, he is the worst doctor I have ever been to. He gets everything mixed up...doesn't spend any time with me and it took me more than 2 months just to get a referral. When I had my annual exam he didn't even know that I had a bilateral mastectomy! My chart is all wrong, enough so that it looks as though he confused me with someone else and that is very scary to me. I am very concerned about this lack of care for me and others :(
