List of Greg Sloan's Reviews
He was very helpful and patient and kind
Marilyn Mobbs Rhodes Been going to Dr. Sloan since 1987 and find his medical expertise and care so superior have not really needed to see any other doctors. Dr. Sloan is very thorough and conscientous, takes a lot of time talking to patients and examining them. He provides the very best level of medical care and is extremely well-versed in every aspect of possible physical ailments.
awful doctor
Best personal doctor ive ever had. Very thourough with his examinatiins and was able to come up with solution to my health problem quickly and promptly. Because of Dr Sloan and his direction i amhealthy again. I recommend this Doctor to anyone in the area or surrounding areas.
Terrible place to go too.. I would not recommend. Very poor work ethic. Also you will wait for a long time even if the waiting room is empty. Do NOT get blood work done here you will have to wait extremely long to get it back. Also do not try to do anything on Fridays because they will ignore your calls and close before the time that there office hours says.
Very limited practice.Unable to provide any extended care.No hospitalist care.Guarded and poor follow through on issues.Referred everything to someone else. Dr Sloane told my partner she had a muscle displacement on the abdomen which accounted for the big bulge, not a hernia in front of a trainee.Unhappy with this,we self followed up with a GI surgeon after months of awaiting the referral from the practice, who was shocked, did tests and did emergency surgery immediately after we self referred, for a grapefruit sized hernia that intestines had adhesed to,and organs had displaced outside through the gap.Shortly after,Dr Sloane struck us off his patient list, refusing after care when told about surgery. Staff never smile,Practice nurse very rude and judgemental,my partner has memory issue so we tend to be seen together and we were not allowed to be seen together. When we complained about this at the time we went in after the major surgery as above, this also was probably part of why we got taken off his list.We had the audacity to ask to go in together. We had been patients there 18 months prior.we received a letter,no call,no explanation of why.Very cold tactic. Over all,a very limited scope of practice.Very militaristic approach in care with no flexability, very negative office staff and check and recheck any follow through appointments, referrals as some never got made at all such as our GI referral. My wife could have died,as GI Dr said was possible within another 6 months if had been left untreated. Take care if you choose this practice.
Dr. Sloan been my doctor since 1986-1987, and likely saved my life in 2004 and when he noted my heart beating irregularly and go me into cardiologist that same day. Found out had had a heart attack. Would highly recommend Dr. Sloan to everyone. He is very thorough and detail-oriented.
Dr. Sloan is very nice and personable. He didn't seem rushed during my visit, and my wait time was minimal.
Very thorough examination but somewhat stingy with information.
I called Dr. Sloan's office to schedule an appointment to become established with him. I was on the phone with his staff less than 1 minute, which made me realize this was not the office for me with the rudeness of his staff.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
