Horrible experience! Went here he didn’t do anything asked why am I here then I find out I have a severe sinus infection sinusitis at a different ent after this visit , that is so severe it hurt my head and my vision and I’m still battling it with antibiotics! My memory isn’t the same since this and he just laughed it off as NOTHING AT ALL take your patients SERIOISLY when they complain of any headache or head pain ! Ridiculous!

Within 2 minutes of meeting him I knew that even if he could perform the surgery I needed I wouldn't let him touch me. I was a STAT referral from my PCP for an inner ear issue requiring surgery. He did not know my name or why I was there had not read my report that radiology associates sent to him, acted annoyed viewing my CT scan. Asked me why I drove all the way from Tallahassee to see him (I needed STAT care). Told me I needed surgery but good luck finding anyone to do it. Handed me a slip of paper and told me to call Gainesville but good luck because they don't take my insurance. I drove 2 hours for not even 10 minutes of his time. I reported his unprofessional and dismissive attitude to my insurance company and I hope they pull him as a provider.

I have never come across a physician who does not listen, interact or care for his patients. Upon my first visit i was waiting to check in. There was a man belittling the gal at the desk. I stood there thinking wow, who is that guy. I was shocked when that guy came in my room. It was Dr. Beggs. He falsified my medical record, committed fraud by charging me and my insurance company for tests he did not do. He even scheduled me for surgery for a condition I did not have. Stay away from this man.

Everyone there is extremely friendly and doctor Beggs is pleasant and professional.

I had a rapid onset of epiglottitis. My epiglottis was quickly swelling, cutting off upper airway breathing. It was a life-threatening emergency. Dr. Daube performed the surgery and my follow-ups with Dr. Beggs, were professional and care were top notch. My son went through an hour long surgery, Dr Beggs leaves the center not to be found. When he finally arrives back to the surgery center he snapped at the staff that had been trying to reach him. When I asked when my son could resume his athletics he said “I don’t know, whenever he feels like it.” Then “Did I answer all of your questions?” He was inconsiderate and didn’t seem to care. As well, he arrived for surgery unprepared, thankfully we had the scans with us. I won’t comment on his ability as a surgeon, however, with this blatant disregard for the patients he serves it is going to catch up to him. I definitely do not recommend!

Dr beggs did surgery on my husband with cancer and literally saved his life

I am extremely thankful for Dr. Beggs. My sister recently underwent a serious neck surgery and he did a amazing job. Dr. Beggs sat down with my family and explained what my sister healing process was going to look like; he also informed us that he was always available to answer any questions or concerns going forward. Thank you Dr. Beggs and the Bay Hospital nursing staff...you ALL are amazing!!!

Dr Beggs seems very nice but doesn't spend enough time with patients. Office staff doesn't do job in a timely manner, won't return phone calls and won't submit paperwork for prior approval with insurance companies in a timely fashion. Had to cancel surgery and cat scans because the staff does not do their job! Won't be going back

I at first was hesitate to have Dr. Beggs as a surgeon, based on some of the things I had read actually, my husband is a fine example of not to believe everything you read, he did a wonderful job on a radical neck surgery, as far as bedside manner, found him Great unless you don't like straight talk as how things really are and we do, I am thankful he is my husbands ENT surgeon.
