List of Alexander K. Malone's Reviews
Dr Malone is either incompetent or just uncaring. I spent more time completing the paperwork to visit with him than with the Dr. examining me or explaining what was going on. The total time with him was less than 5 minutes, and I don't think he heard a word I said or doesn't care. He prescribed 2 nasal sprays that did not work. After a few weeks I called his office to let him know, and the response from his medical assistant was to give it six weeks. There has been no follow up call. I decided to find a new ENT, and I would recommend you do the same.
This doctor is a fraud. I went there for some minor sinusitis and he convinced me to have a Balloon Sinuplasty done. He said he saw the CT results from the other doctor at Florida ENT. The other doctor said I didn't need it, but he convinced me it would help. He also didn't go over any of the associated risks with this procedure. He totally messed up the surgery and now I have serious problems and am in constant pain and on pain medication. I have permanent damage and headaches all the time. I am now in pain management as a result of this. It's devastating! He acts like he cares but it's all be big lie. I think because he's a young doctor that he tries to get you try procedures that are more risky. He is the worst doctor I've ever been too and has ruined my life. My advice for others don't ever let him talk you into something. He might ruin your life. Go to someone else.

After going to the doctor a few times for some minor sinusitis he recommended me to have a sinus surgery done. A couple of other ENT doctors said I didn't need it. But he told me that it would help me and he had done these all the time and never had any problems. He never went over any potential risks with me. If I had known I wouldn't ever have had this done. He messed up the surgery and I have permanent damage to nerves in my nose and above my eyes. After the surgery, he tried to cover it up, by just saying it was an infection. This went on 4 months. Then I went to another ENT who told me there was nerve damage which is what I thought is was. There's nothing that can be done to fix this. I am now it pain management and taking lots of pain medicine just for relief. I will never be the same. I thought you could trust doctors. This is a doctor that doesn't really care about making you better. It's all about making more money and doing as many procedures that you can. If I was going to an ENT doctor in the future, I would take more time to investigate the doctor and check on his is experience, knowledge and reputation. I hope that some of you read this review and consider going to a more competent doctor.
My initial visits to Dr. Malone were fine. I had chronic sinusitis. The first doctor who was also at Florida ENT said I didn't need surgery. He prescribed me antibiotics, but after 4 to 5 weeks I still had the problem. Dr. Malone suggested a Balloon Sinus Sinuplasty. He didn't go over any risks with this procedure and from what I could tell it was generally safe. But after having it, I had a lot pain. He says he though it was an infection, but it turned out to be a damaged nerve. I have been in constant pain and on pain medication since. There's isn't much they can do. It may not have been his fault, but I think this procedure has more risk then they tell patients. I would advise anyone before having this done to go to another doctor for a second opinion. I should have taken the advice from the first doctor and not have had it done. I would have been much happier.
I have been seeing Dr. Malone for a couple of months. My first impression of him was that he was very professional, likeable, informed, and took his time to hear my issues. He addressed all of my health concerns meticulously. He was very straightforward and explained my options in detail. Therefore, my initial impression of him has not wavered and remain unchanged. He is exactly what I was searching for in a physician. I would highly recommend him without a second thought.
Dr. Malone is very professional, polite, and highly intelligent. I always felt I was in good hands especially when it was time to have a my eardrum reconstructed due to a perforation. He did an amazing job. His medical assistant Stephanie is also very reliable, smart and friendly.
Finally a doctor who tries to help you.For the first time in my life - I am living with managed symptoms.
Malone performed surery on my nose. He not only disfigured it, I now cannot breath out of both nostrils. Three weeks after surgery I let his staff know what I am going through and Malone responded that there is nothing else he could do and dismissed me as a patient. Many Doctors like him feel impervious to any lawsuits due to the Medical Malpractice Tort Reform Law signed by Governor Jeb Bush back in 2003. The law has made it extemely difficult to sue Doctors. The medical licensing board is being notified and that is just the beginning. I don't want anyone to have to suffer like me.
I recently saw Mr Malone and had a ct scan done to look at a mass in my neck. He is polite but not very thorough. After a few minutes of quickly scanning through the disc he said he saw nothing of concern. The scan showed nothing even though he could feel it was there. Instead of trying to come up with a game plan to find out what it is he gave me the name and number for me to get a second opinion with someone else. He also gave me back their copy of the disc. He didn’t even keep it to look over to see if there was something he missed. Now I have to see yet another Dr to find out what this is.
I saw Dr. Malone on 7/25/19 and was very impressed with him. He was very professional, pleasant, knowledgeable, and took his time to listen to my issues. He addressed all my concerns thoroughly. He was very candid and explained my options in detail. He was exactly what I was looking for in a doctor. I felt 100% better after my visit with him. He was excellent. I would highly recommend him. I have been in the medical field my entire working life and I have seen the best and the worst of various medical practices. This doctor is among the best.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
