Alexander Malone's Online Review Report Card

I was not pleased at all. I've been experiencing ear problems for over 3 years . He looked into my ears an said everything is good. Which in fact its not. He prescribed me 2 nasal sprays an said ur ears will open over time. An that's it. I think nasal sprays are his go to when he doesn't know what's wrong with you highly disappointed in his care..

I accidently visited Dr Malone believing it was another provider actually located across the road. Initially the first visit went well (other than not giving me the antibiotic I knew was appropriate, and putting me on a Z-Pak that gave me terrible gastro issues), he took a culture that came back indicated an antibiotic in the class that I had asked for. That week they closed the practice due to Hurricane Ian so I went to a walk in clinic with the culture results from Quest. Ten days of Ciprofloxicin. When I returned for a follow up visit they said I wasn't listed in the appt book that day, when in fact I had a card for that time and day! A manager came out and spoke with me and slipped me in anyway. When I saw the doctor I learned that this ENT referred me to another ENT.. Why? Are they not ENTs? Today is November 30th and I have been suffering with this full sinus and loss of hearing since August 8th! I am no under the care of another ENT and hope to end this suffering soon! I may need surgery, I may first need tubes in my ear, but I won't know until I return to the ENT I am seeing now in January! Bottom line, don't trust Dr. Alexander Malone, he is young, inexperianced, the office was non attentive to my request to return after the end of the first anti biotic in spite of being sick, when I finally got them to allow me to see someone, it was with Dr. Reverra in another office, who seemed like a good guy, told me Malone should have put me on the Cippro for fourteen days, not ten, and added prednisone. There is so much more to say, but suffice it to say; Dr. Malone needs ten more years plus experiance before he can attend to other than routine issues.. Seems even he know this given how he referred me to not just another doctor in his practice, but another practice all together! Why?

You ever encountered a Dr, who made you wonder how seriously they took the Hippocratic Oath? That was my impression of this guy. I was just minutes on the clock that he wanted to quickly pass, and a number in his many number of patients to see. I had a lump in my throat, and gave him as complete a description of my symptoms and the duration of them and instead of recommending some sort of imaging to get a more detailed look at it, he sent me to get testing for 'mono' and called it a day. Maybe it was due to me not having insurance to pay him the money he was accustomed to, or maybe it was my non-white race, that made him unconcerned about my quality of life and wellbeing but this Dr clearly couldn't have cared less about my case. I went to another Dr that did order imaging, bloodwork and a biopsy. Such major contrast in approach. He was COMPLETE TRASH.

Dr. Malone was a wonderful doctor. I went in with crystal issues in my ear. He explained everything, did an exercise with me, and cured me with one visit. I feel wonderful. Thank you, Dr. Malone.

Dr Malone was excellent. He was honest about my situation and made some very important recommendations and suggestions. He answered all my questions and I was very pleased.

Dr. Malone was very professional, courteous, and timely.

Dr. Malone listens to me talk, asks a few questions, and then gives me solutions that have proven to be spot on. I very much appreciate his ability to figure out, what I can't my own self, to help me be able to breathe and to sleep well.

Dr Malone is either incompetent or just uncaring. I spent more time completing the paperwork to visit with him than with the Dr. examining me or explaining what was going on. The total time with him was less than 5 minutes, and I don't think he heard a word I said or doesn't care. He prescribed 2 nasal sprays that did not work. After a few weeks I called his office to let him know, and the response from his medical assistant was to give it six weeks. There has been no follow up call. I decided to find a new ENT, and I would recommend you do the same.

If you have an extra $35 and 30 seconds of your day, then consider it a fair trade for what you'll get as part of your appointment. The absolute worst doctor and experience I've ever had- in fact it's so bad they don't even email or send a satisfaction questionnaire. Don't waste your time!!!
