Anthony L. Marcotte's Online Review Report Card

Ive been going to Dr. Marcotte for several years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. I’ve moved to Gainesville area and still drive back to Clearwater to be treated by him. If you have someone you trust there is no reason to go elsewhere.

Dr. Marcotte is one of the best. He sincerely cares about his patients and he spends time with you and explains things in detail. I highly recommend him.

I had a severe injury of my left index finger when an open can with the Lid left up vertically was sitting on the counter and was knocked over by something falling off of the shelf. As my hand came up the can sliced my finger severing a tendon.I went to the emergency room and they were unable to get a surgeon on Friday night so they stitched it up and sent me to Dr. Marcotte whose office took me in immediately Monday morning.Dr. Marcotte handled his schedule to fit me in for surgery Wednesday morning so the whole process went extremely fast. I was so grateful for this because it was important to move quickly.The surgery experience was extremely easy and pleasant the anesthesiologist was very good the staff were quick and knowledgeable and the physical therapy was good too.My finger is healed up nicely and I have almost full use of my finger all the way to the tip. There is a little bit of scar tissue but overall it was a job really well done. Dr. Marcotte was excellent compassionate and was also respectful of my religious preferences which was so kind and appreciated.

Misread my MRI. Did a surgery. Didnt correct the problem. Drs and physical therapist dont listen to you. Just felt like a number another insurance policy check there. Trying to get through on the phone is a task in itself.

Outstanding That is a word that is not strong enough to describe my experience with this office. I had two different surgeries on my wrist and elbow on both arms that Dr Marcotte performed. My whole experience from the initial visit all the way through my last visit after the surgeries was phenomenal. Ive had other medical issues at other facilities and would have to say Dr Marcotte and his team is on a totally different level from all the rest. Dr. Marcotte is one of the doctors that really cares for you as a person and generally concerned with your wellbeing. A+++ to him and his team.

Went through the whole ordeal of scheduling an appointment giving them my insurance drove 45 minutes there only for them to tell me when I arrived that they couldnt accept my insurance and I would have to self pay. I wouldnt recommend coming here unless you would like to take the chance of wasting half of your day. Also I would like to add that the staff couldnt have cared less about the inconveniences they caused me although I did receive one quick insincere sorry.

Dr. Piazza is very good. He’s not like most doctors around here. He is confident yet not arrogant and explains true conditions very well. If you like being treated as a person with care go here.

Dr Marcotte is an excellent Hand Surgeon. The staff at Orthopedic Specialties are all excellent.

Dr. Marcotte is the most caring doctorsurgeon that I have experienced. He carefully listened to my history explained all the options and worked me into his schedule for an appointment the same day and surgery the following day to repair my broken elbow. His follow up appointments over three months helped me continue to do physical therapy answered all my questions and did so in a positive manner. His staff was equally as friendly compassionate and on time I highly recommend Dr. Marcotte.
