i WAITED 45 MINUTES IN HIS OFFICE AND WHEN HE ARRIVED I FELT VERY HURRIED AND MY TIME WITH THE DR YAN WAS LESS THAN 5 MINUTES.VERY UPSET.

Best Dr. He sits down and explains everything. Very polite kind and informative. If you have any side effects from chemo he will prescribe medicine to alleviate and help you with any questions you have about the process of treatment.

Very knowledgable and personable. Here is a specialist who talks to you like a human being takes time to explain and make sure you understand and can participate in your diagnosis and treatment. I really like this doc and and recommend him without reservation. His office staff is also very pleasant and supportive.

The need for excellent professional comprehensive and informative care did not go away for me in this challenging time when health care is under attack from the circumstances Covid has presented. So the chance to get that quality of care from Dr. Yan and the staff was such a relief and plus. Baycare and this group within Baycare are top drawer and have confronted and figured out how to deal with the new environment Covid presents to healthcare offices practices and patients. Most emphatically Dr. Yan provides excellent decisive and personable medical care. Thats invaluable to me as a patient.

Dr. Yan was very thorough in his explanation answered all my questions and was genuinely interested in my concerns. His staff was very polite and very efficient also.

The original appointment with Dr. Yan was scheduled 6 months ago for my mother. She was contacted the day prior to her appointment and told she needed to have lab work ups prior to meeting with the doctor. The lab work was completed. Subsequently the followup visit was rescheduled for two weeks later. Once we arrived for the appointment we had to inquire several times on how long it would be before she could see the doctor due to the wait. The receptionist at the front desk was courteous and polite. It took a hour and ten minutes before my mother could be seen by the doctor. Once we met with Dr. Yan within 10 minutes we realized the lab work up was for a procedure that she had already declined six months prior. Never was she asked prior to the appointment if she had changed her mind and wanted to proceed with the procedure. The visit was a complete waste of time and insurance money. Dr. Yan could not provide a reasonable explanation for ordering the lab work.
