Dr Schaffer is an awesome doctor… listens tells you how it is advises and truly cares about you.
Excellent care. Dr Schaeffer and his staff do an excellent job. Dr Schaeffer is a caring physician and listens to his patient.
Everyone was very happy today and this was reflected in the cordial treatment I received from all staff. Dr Schaffer worked through some problems with us that seemed so difficult nd important. He helped to put things in their proper perspectives then my wife and I were were put at ease by common sense recommendations how to switch doctors.Good for the body good for the soul.
Dr Schaffer always available and extremely professional. I have complete confidence in him. I have recommended several of my friends to him over the years.
Very organized efficient and professional from checkin to checkout

Nothing to improve
Dr Ben is great
One of the best PCPSpecialty physicians in the bay area. I am very happy with the level of care I receive. Dr. Schaffer is a very caring and attentive physician. You dont find many old school doctors anymore who provide patient centered visits where the doctor is vested in your health and allows you to advocate on your behalf.
I was being nice saying 3 stars but he wanted me to wait until I couldn’t breath and talk at same time..... that would be a little bit late for me. I want better health care. He still had NO personality or bedside manner but I tried hard to give him the benefit of the doubt. I shouldn’t have...... ended up in ER then hospitalized for 24hrs after doing what they they told me to do.... go to Baycare urgent care center where the MD never even listened to my breathing and sent me home. So After his office called me after hours which I never expected to end at 4pm left a message how was I to respond after being told after 16 minutes of them being closed. Sorry I was trying hard to take my dog out but I needed to breathe more.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
