There is no better Pulmonologist in the Tampa Bay area. Hes very informative and detailed with your condition. He gives you the time you need and actually listens imagine that. I have a progressive lung condition and other doctors wanted to replace my lungs give .me high doses of Prednazone i could go on..Went through 6 pulmonologists before finding Berc Safarian. Does not return phone messages. Does not call to give test results. It was over 2 weeks getting lung xray results. Receptionist won’t help you fill out insurance forms and doctor says the forms are too complicated so he will not be doing business with our insurance company any more.

My wife is in the hospital with a history of a stroke. Shes there after experiencing a TIA. He goes to assess her and she has slurred speech and based on his vast experience he says shes tired and prescribed a sleeping pill. Avoid him at all costs.

Dr. Sarafian is a serious professional and our experience has been excellent.

Dr Sarafian was the weekend cover doctor for my mothers pulmonologist. On that day Dr Sarafian delivered the news to me that my mother had terminal cancer. I was alone and hearing this information for the first time as to how much the cancer had taken over my moms body. As I stood there crying Dr Sarafian compared my mom to an old ford vehicle. Basically time to get rid of the old and in with the new. He then basically belittled me when I misunderstood his diagnosis. This news was delivered to me in my moms hospital room loud enough for her roommate to hear and complain about. His delivery to me was so violent that I ran out of the hospital sick to my stomach. No one and I repeat no one should be given this information in such an inhumane way. Not sure how this person can still hold a medical degree.

Dr Sarafian is the BEST extremely knowledable in everything weve shared. I greatly appreciate him Tracey tremendously. I referred him to three people so far this week. Hes amazing.
