List of David Minkoff's Reviews
Minkoff, a Scientologist, was implicated in the death of Lisa McPherson, a Scientologist who allegedly died of malnutrition while in the custody of other Scientologists. An Administrative Law Judge concluded that even though Minkoff had never met McPherson, he prescribed sedative medication by telephone to Church of Scientology staff members who had called on her behalf. Although admitting no guilt, Minkoff reached a $100,000 settlement in 1997 in a wrongful death lawsuit filed by McPherson’s estate.
Run!!! Fast as you can! I promise you, you can heal without them!!
scientologists die because of you
My husband is a patient here at lifeworks. He is receiving treatment to help manage his cancer. We have recently started treatment and my husband is feeling stronger. My only issue so far has been the scheduling of treatments. It would be much better to have treatments scheduled without 2-3 hour gaps between treatments.
Run away!!! Dr. Minkoff has made a fortune off of people by "treating" them with alternative medicine. I am currently watching my dear friend who chose him over Moffitt. She GAVE well over $100,000 to this man and his office. Research, research, research! I chose Moffitt; she believed in this man. Medical science is not perfect, but it would have been better then the treatments she received here that depleted her funds and did not help her at all. He even sent her to a dentist "friend" to have 5 of her root canal teeth removed, because he said that was the main cause of her breast cancer. Those 5 teeth being extracted cost her $50,000 alone! Greed at it's finest.
Horrible practice
The original treatment made me feel better. Greed is the game at Lifeworks wellness. I was sepsis. They had me keep the pic line in for months without being able to do any treatments. I had to go to Mayo Clinic for them to hospitalize me for sepsis from the pic line. While I’ve asked the doctor, the Nurse Practioner who had the change the dressing every week if my “episodes”(that lasted 6 hours at a time at least one per day)if it could possibly be from the pic line. They literally left me with no options under his care. This went on from May-July. I now have PTSD from it. My stomach actually turns every time I see the Lifeworks name or pictures on a billboard. I figured I should share instead of keeping it to myself. I have noticed the bags in the treatment room look like they were reused and old…can’t help but think if that could’ve been the culprit. Again, I felt great the best in a long time…until I didn’t. And Dr. Minkoff didn’t offer to test or do anything to help. All they said was go to the ER if you need to. While they had me keep this pic line in for 6 months anticipating me to go back to treatments.
Great place and service! Feel much better and healthier! Thank you Dr Minkoff! I never received what I was promised. For placing a review.
Oh. A Florida doctor ? Sweet. I think I’ll stay here near, MGH, Beth Israel, & Harvard Med. Thanks though.
Great place, great staff and a place you can go for healing. Great protocols to solve health issues. An amazing place

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
