A stiff knee couldnt get stiffer in a freezing cold waiting room for over an hour. Told me my meniscus looked like a hurricane hit it and cant be repaired by looking at only xrays. I needed TKR. Says one thing to patient and notes say another. Read your patient notes from this doctor my GP read them to me.

Well they did xrays pretty good. Doctor can read meniscus condition from just xrays. Recommended TKR because it was a good time since it was slow with COVID and less medical tourism. Of course his notes are totally different.

Completed 2 separate shoulder socket repairs 2012 then 2013 100% recovery for both shoulders Excellent surgeon superior bedside manner. Kind answered all my question never felt rushed. Doesn’t get any better than Dr. Thompson Saw him today 2021 for shoulder replacement he no longer does replacement surgery which broke my heart. Recommended another OAWF shoulder surgeon spoke highly of his colleague but I still wish Dr. Thompson was doing shoulder replacements. B. Walker

I have had two separate knee surgeries with Dr. Thompson.He is a very compassionate man who listens to you as you would expect .No unanswered questions and I did have many.I am so pleased with my time spent with him that resulted in Success.I would highly recommend him as a Doctor who Cares.God Bless Him.P.S.The staff he has was super too. Kudos to ALL.

I was a little liery after reading some of the comments. Yes I had to wait...but I have waited a lot longer for doctors. The entire visit including wait time took an hour. I was ready for a bunch of blah blah blah but instead found Dr. Thompson to be a nice person as well as an honest doctor. He recommended no surgery. How many times does that happen? He explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions. I will see him again ifwhen its time for surgery.

Dr was in a hurry to eat lunch mis diagnosed my injury. Gave me an injection in my shoulder and I had subluxation of sternoclavicular joint. Dont recommend

Was not given much info regarding my injury but when I asked for more info he protested by condescendingly commenting that he did not have time to teach me about shoulder anatomy However I explained that I’m a nurse but he still gave very little info. Then he prescribed PT but I never received the script at checkout. On the way home when I realized I didn’t have it they said he never even put the order into the computer so they couldn’t generate the paperwork Now I have to wait for them to get their act together and call me back. Unbelievably unprofessional and inefficient

Dr. Thompson is the absolute best. I went to FOUR different orthos before meeting Dr. Thompson and I knew in the first 5 minutes of the consultation that this is who I wanted to do my surgery.Fast forward 3 months and I am currently 8 weeks ACL postop and I couldnt be happier with the results. Dr. Thompson is an amazing surgeon and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. Everything about my experience from start to finish has been flawless and I cant thank him enough
