Dmytro Sava's Online Review Report Card

I was pregnant and had just started Medicaid and they said I needed to see my primary care just to get the process goingMy Dr. was Katina Bonaparte but she wasn't in that day so they sent me to Sava. as the RN knew I was pregnant he said, they may not be able to see me. Sava came in and grilled me for 10 minutes about what was I doing coming to see them because my OB was now my doctor and I won't see anyone here until I give birth. I didn't know any of that. His tone and demeanor was humiliating. It felt like he was accusing me of trying to swindle them into treating me or something.I told him that it felt weird they way he was talking to me like I'd done something wrong. He was so defensive and I had no idea why. I was in no need of treatment either. I was just trying to fulfill what my new health insurance wanted I've never been treated so badly in a doctors office. The rest of the staff and experience was perfectly fine but there is something seriously wrong with Dmytro Sava

Dystrophy sava pretends to be a doctor hes rude and unprofessional he doesn't introduce himself. He isn't friendly at all my daughter had an anxiety attack because of his attitude towards me! He doesn't know anything about being a doctor!!!!

Now reading the comment below I can understand why this guy seemed so off. I wish I would have known I was seeing a nurse as well (not a doctor). I am a long-covid patient and just finished a neurological study for the NIH. They asked me to ask my primary for tests. He would not order any tests and just like the patient below said. He doesn't hardly say anything and anything he did say was negated by doctors at NIH. I even asked him why do you not want to help me? I showed him my portal with all of my notes from the NIH and I had all of my diagnosis and tests so far in a folder. I just wanted him to order those tests. He would not and said "He is not a specialist". He should have said "I am not a doctor". I will now continue to pay out of pocket until I find another primary. This was my second visit with him by the way. I have been vomiting for 4 months and he wouldn't even give me a referral to the gastro doctor before I went to the NIH so I scheduled my own and payed out of pocket.

I did not have a good experience with Mr. Sava. I assumed I was seeing a Dr. and didn't know he wasn't until I read on bill he is a Nurse. Nothing wrong with that but would have liked to know! He did not introduce himself when he entered room. I had major concerns of some things and he offered NOTHING. He didn't explain what might be causing my symptoms, he didn't say much of anything. Barely said a word, just stared at me. Most uncomfortable "Dr." visit ever! Now Clinic is trying to get MORE money out of me even though I PAID the "Sliding Scale" amount! Go to Largo Med Clinic at Largo Mall you'll see a DR and costs less!

I want to thank Dmytro Sava for a thorough and attentive consultation, scheduled just days in advance. He was kind, polite, well informed and informative, eager to understand and to help. Although he was substituting for my primary physician, he cared about my well being and encouraged me to proceed with the best possible follow up testing. Kudos to this well run Community Health Care center.
