Dr. Miranda is a truly caring and concerned physician. He fully discussed my cancer and his proposed treatment plan. Thereafter he has carefully monitored my medical status.
I have been going through quite a bit of medical treatment since September and have had several tests for cancer. Some days I had given up on hope of trying to understand what was going on with my diagnoses. Then I found Dr. Miranda and the staff at Florida Cancer Specialists. I highly recommend him. He is very thorough and spent the extra time explaining every step and what tests needed to be done. He has been my life safe given me peace of mind with the treatment and care. Thank you Dr. Miranda
For my first appointment they wanted me to arrive 30 minutes before my schedule appointment. And then I had to wait more than 1 12 hours to actually see the doctor.
Referred as a hematology patient to rule out anemia being the contributing factor to difficulty breathing upon exertion. Although blood levels are a tad off theyre normal for me so the anemia has no bearing on my breathing. Just as I suspected but a relief none the less. Thats far from the troubling part. Had to wait over 1 12 hours to finally be seen by the doctor for less than 30 minutes. I can appreciate spending quality time with patients but this was beyond ridiculous. Have another appointment in a month which Ill be cancelling. Theres no treatment plan since the problem Im experiencing is not hematology related. It pointed me though in the direction of a different specialty for which I will be having other tests.
I hope my initial telephone contact is NOT an indication as to the treatment and quality of care. The person who answered the phone and took my general information was clueless. The problem was her not being knowledgeable about my insurance AARP MEDICARE COMPLETE insured by UNITED HEALTH CARE.
He is absolutely amazing He is such a caring doctor he takes time during your appointments to address everything. He makes sure that any questions you may have are answered and if you have concerns he puts you at ease before you leave. Ive been seeing him for almost 10 years and with all my medical issues I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. His staff are all as sweet as they can be.
I am currently a patient of Dr.Miranda. Going through cancer is very scary and Dr Miranda makes sure your treatment is the best for your condition. During the consultation everything is explained to you so then when you leave his office you feel so confident just knowing your Dr cares. He is a compassionate Dr and the best in his field.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
