Eli Gavi's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Eli Gavi gets the top award for Best Pulmonlogist in Tampa Bay area. If this were possible he would be stepping out on the red carpet because this doctor is outstanding. I read his reviews two years ago when I was looking for a pulmonologist for my 90 something mother and the words that resonated with me was compassion patience and brilliance. After watching him care for my mother these past two years dealing with her many health issues I must amend those reviews to include he is a doctor who is truthful and doesn’t hide the full diagnose which many doctors do with elderly patients. He trusts that his patients want to know the truth because only with an open and honest discourse can a patient and their family focus realistically on a treatment plan. Dr. Gavi is prompt and when you are with him he is 100% with you not hiding behind the computer screen typing notes. I requested all of my mother’s records the other day and was surprised not really how detailed his notes were after each appointment yet he never typed while with us unlike so many doctors who enter the room and open the laptop and start typing without making much effort at eye contact. He is a doctor who is conservative in his approach for the elderly their comfort and quality of life is what matters but he has a brilliantly tuned intellect that equally thinks outside the box. He gives you all sides to a treatment the pros cons and everything in between. Since we started with Dr. Gavi my mother has had two lifethreatening medical conditions that landed her in the hospital heart failure. Even though Dr. Gavi was not making rounds at the hospital once he was contacted that his patient was in the hospital he came to see how she was doing and consult with us. I wish the cardiologist making rounds did the same. I don’t know if I left a review for Dr. Gavi before now but if not—this is what I want to end on. If you need a pulmonologist and if Dr. Gavi is accepting new patients—jump on the phone and make an appointment with him.

Dr Gavi is a great physician. Very compassionate with his patients he answered all questions I had very professionally. His office staff was very efficient and friendly. I have also had other dealings with the other physicians of this practice while u was in the hospital and they were all just as great. I highly recommend This practice 10 out of 10

I had my first visit with Dr. Gavi today. I found him to be very compassionate and attentive to my health care needs. The entire appointment process was efficient and seamless. I really appreciate all the extra cleaning and sanitizing measures the office is taking to keep their patients safe.The entire experience was great. I would have no reservations referring my family and friends to this office.

I would give them a zero if that was a option. Do not go here. Staff was very rude and snarky. They do not care if you have a medical condition that makes you unable to breathe. Please save yourself time and don’t go here.

Excellent physician. Very well educated compassionate attentive to needs and input listens to concerns discusses options and explains anything you question very well. Dr. Gavi has been my pulmonologist for about 15 years. I am a retired nurse and very picky about my physicians. I research their education and experience thoroughly. I am also very impressed with his M.A. Paaj. I wish all M.A.s were as well trained personable compassionate and as kind as she is.

Dr Garvi is very knowledgeable and when I first met him he new what was wrong and sent me for test to see my condition. He did not want to guess as many doctors due .. sent me to a Lung clinic and they taught me how to cope. and what to do when I need to bread better. His nurse is very helpful ...

Dr. Gavy is very easy to talk to and he is very knowledgeable about ones diagnosis . He takes his time to answer all your questions. I recommend him very highly.

He is an EXCELLENT doctor with a caring and understanding side. This has been a rare quality to find lately. If you have respiratory issues this is the doctor to see.

Dr. Gavi has been my pulmonologist for several years now and has managed my copd to the extent of furthering my life expectancy and this I am most grateful. I fully endorse dr. Gavi and highly recommend his services.
