Would give this place 0 stars for the urgent care and the horrible Physician’s Assistant at this place, if I could. Chronic sinusitis patient here with one sinus surgery under my belt (& I also have asthma and test really high for allergies (by an allergist) to just about every tree and grass outside. I moved here from GA recently and have been working on finding an urgent care and doctor’s office that knows how to tackle my chronic issues when I get sick. Single mom and 1st grade teacher who can’t just call out of work every time I get a sinus infection. I originally went to the Minute Clinic (because getting a doctor’s appointment down here is about impossible). They will only prescribe you 5 days of meds and only have specific meds they’re allowed to prescribe based on their system. Unfortunately, the meds they can prescribe me are the ones I’m no longer responsive to. So I go to this urgent care to get refills and to try to tackle this sinus infection. I tell him that I’ve been on doxycycline 4 times in a row and that it’s not going to work. So he definitely doesn’t listen to a word I say and prescribes me 5 more days of doxycycline. Well, what do you know? 8 days after that appointment, I still have an aggressive sinus infection. So I’ve been sick for 2 weeks now. If he would have listened the 1st time I came in, I would be better and not need a second visit. The second visit is 10 times worse. I inform him that I told him in the 1st visit that the doxycycline wouldn’t work and I’m still sick. He cuts me off in the middle of talking and does not take in any information he actually needs to know how to help me get better. He continually talked over me and did not have any concern that his negligence is why I’m still sick after 2 weeks. Between my allergies and sinus infections, I get extreme inflammation and pain. Prednisone is the only thing that helps that pain so I can function. He prescribes me a medrol pack and I tell him it isn’t going to do anything. Do you really think a medrol pack is going to help someone (in a lot of pain) who constantly gets sinus infections regularly even after a sinus surgery? When I tell him it won’t help, he could care less and talks to me in a manner that shows he doesn’t care if I’m in pain or still sick. Once again, he ignores the years of information I already have about my condition. You would have thought I was asking him for OxyContin or something. So if you want a P.A. who doesn’t listen, ignores health information that would allow timely healing, and who has no concern that their negligence is about to keep you sick beyond 2 weeks and probably into Christmas, this is your place! He sent me a referral for a ENT. I’m thinking, “You’re the worst P.A. I have ever dealt with and I definitely will not be using your referral considering you think it’s adequate for me to be sick this long”. I’m really fed up with urgent cares using P.A.’s and nurse practitioners who are incompetent and that are not providing adequate medical care from a doctor who actually has way more knowledge and awareness of what they’re doing. I’ve never had these issues when I actually see a real M.D.
Best doctor on the planet. So lucky to have him in Clearwater!
Dr. Grossgold is a wonderful physician. He is patient, thorough, compassionate, and kind. He looks at the whole body, with intention to heal. I am truly grateful to have found him.
We saw Dr. Grossgold today with our 10 day old son. What a breath of fresh air to meet a Dr. that takes the time to really listen to you and treat you like a unique individual. We are excited to transfer our entire family's care to Dr. Grossgold and look forward to personalized care and continued health!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
