Herbert PAUL Knauf's Online Review Report Card

So much wrong, I don't know where to start. Does not listen to the patient, take time with the patient or answer questions. Flies in and out of room. I suffered a lot of pain due to him. I had to go to another doctor to help the help I needed. He is moody and arrogant. The staff is polite and knows what they are doing. This review is my opinion.

Dr. Knauf performed cataract surgery and did lens implantation in both eyes as I also had a different stigmatism in each eye and wore 3 different Rx eyeglasses (prescribed by a different doctor). I drove across the state to be a patient of Dr. Knauf because he has the latest state of the art technology in his practice and is the best in the business. I had a perfect outcome and no pain. It was an amazing procedure and he provides great patient care!

I have been "seeing" Dr. Knauf for over 30 years. I have significant vision issues since 1980, and he has preserved the vision I have left with great skill and critical decisions. He has performed multiple surgeries, all with optimal outcomes. As a practicing RN, I highly recommend Dr. Knauf and the entire team at Eye Site of Tampa Bay. I put all my faith in his work with my complex vision issues. Recently, my wife needed bilateral cataract lens replacements. She is thrilled with the outcome after I suggested she see him for a second opinion. I have seen many eye doctors over the past 40 years, and Dr. Knauf and his team have been the best hands down.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Knauf and the entire staff at Eye Site of Tampa Bay. Due to insurance, had to leave for a while and am now back. Could not be happier. Recently had cataract surgery by Dr, Knauf and it's fantastic to see clearly again. Totally trust Dr. Knauf, Dr. Lusk and Dr. Boyce. Highly recommend them to all my family and friends.

In the last two months, I have had cataract surgery in both eyes, done by Dr. Herbert Knauf of the EyeSite of Tampa Bay. It has truly been a miracle for me, and the experience and skill of Dr. Knauf made it so. I had worn contact lenses for 39 years, most recently of the multifocal kind. Dr. Knauf recommended multifocal cataract replacement lenses, and I can now see better both up close and at distance than I have been able to for years. Dr. Knauf was very good at explaining what he would do, what my options were, and then using a laser and his surgical skill to fit me with perfect lenses for my eyes. Then, he has been very good with follow-up just to make sure everything has worked perfectly. I highly recommend going forward with cataract surgery when it is time, and if you live anywhere in the Tampa area to do so at the Eye Site of Tampa Bay.

Cataract surgery and lens implantation, 2/17 (left) and 3/10, plus follow ups. Very professional staff. Proceedures went exactly as Dr Knauf described, and I am seeing and reading things without glasses I haven’t experienced in 25 years or more. Dr Knauf is the consummate professional.

You can tell this office has been doing cataracts for a long time. They have it down. From scheduling appointments to follow up lens prescription, A+. I opted for the correction of my distance vision when Dr. Knauf did my cataracts and I am so glad that I did.

Dr. Knauf took the time to explain my options, procedures and answer my questions. I did not feel rushed. Dr. Knauf and his staff treated me like an individual NOT a number. The best facility around. Take it to the bank.

I recently had Cataract surgery. Dr. Knauf Perform the surgery with the new panoptic lenses, I couldn’t be more pleased very professional great results. I do not need glasses for reading computer or distance, they are awesome. Also recommend Eye Site of Tampa Bay Andrea Lusk is my regular eye doctor there the whole staff is very professional. Also want to mention very pleased with the Bel Air surgery center.
