List of Jean-Raphael Schneider's Reviews
I moved here from out of state and was having a hard time finding a neuro and had lots of issues called the office and explained that I was going to be the new patient wherever I went because I just moved to FL and explained my issues I was seen the following week and would not trade this doctor at all He’s polite caring knowledgeable professional and right on point with his diagnosis. I travel over an hour to see him and worth every mile. I highly recommend him and Dawn They both listen to your concerns and answer all your questions.
Communicating with the office staff at this facility was a terrible experience. After making an appointment for a procedure they called the afternoon prior to the scheduled procedure and said that they couldnt get in touch with the referring doctor for insurance authorization. After speaking with the insurance company it turns out that this procedure did not need any authorizations because they are an innetwork provider. When I called the office back to have the procedure put back on the schedule they told me that they had already filled the time slot and the next available appointment was in 3 weeks. In the meantime my fiancé is out of work and we are struggling to pay bills while we get the matter resolved. The office staff is uninformed about insurance policies was not helpful in resolving the matter and was unprofessional and rude.
They have you feel as if you are only patient in the office.
My doctors visit was very pleasant today well kept office and crew. The doctor was very kind and informative and took his time I didn’t feel rushed. They even send you a copy of the doctors note so you can remember what was said.
I see Dr Schenider regularly for migraine treatment. His office staff are great he is great and Dawn the ARNP are all great. No issues and the best of care. I highly recommend them. Six stars
I have see both dr Schneider and dawn. They are both amazing as well as persistent to figure things out. They are always patient and take their time with you. A lot of doctors offices need to send their counter staff to be trained at dr Schneider’s office as they are always amazing and considerate. They have always done everything they can to help make sure you have everything as well as if they don’t have something that day they will follow up with you. I can’t say enough about them.
Rude arrogant manner for supposedly a very good md.
Talk about caring and truely understanding your concerns. 100% humanitarian. When Im in pain he always makes time instead of going to ER.
Dr Schneider has been a true life saver for me.He took me in as a new patient with huge. Hip on my shoulder
I am not one to write negative reviews but I need my voice to be heard on this matter. My first contact was a year ago when I needed a neurologist due to an abnormal MRI. I sought out this place Bc being a medical professional myself I knew already my symptoms were neuromuscular and made an appt.I contacted Dr Schneider in the portal and wrote that I have Autism. I also asked if prior to my appointment I could share some simple accommodations and a list on how my Autism can effect medical things i.e. light touch is hard I struggle with verbalizing at times etc. I also asked if I could give him a written document of my symptoms instead of using their symptom form.. I label pain and sensations differently and their form didn’t make much sense to me so my therapist and I had made this other document together. Dr Schneider replied with “I can’t accommodate that” and referred me elsewhere. He later said he referred me elsewhere bc I needed general neurology. So...I went to a general neurologist who did many tests but eventually said I needed more specialized care from a neuromuscular neurologist. My medical case manager contacted Dr Schneider’s medical assistant in Aug and told her about my symptoms and their progression. They looked at the notes from my referring neurologist too. The assistant said to make an appointment. I received an email confirmation from Dr Schneider’s office saying I I was scheduled for oct 10. I was anxious because of my experiences last year with him when I said I had Autism but I sucked it up and put my feelings aside. I was hopeful we would be a good Dr.I called two weeks before my appointment to see if there was an earlier one because I was having a hard time walking and my eyes were constantly funny. The staff checked and said no just come in on the 10th.On Oct 8th I was wondering why I hadn’t gotten an email or phone reminder so I looked on the patient that I no longer had an appt listed. I called to ask why. They were not there but I left a message. They contacted me back and said no you do not have an appointment. The Dr said last time Which was almost a year ago and before progression of symptoms that he recommended general neurology...you are not a good fit....No one called me nor my medical case manager about this cancellation. Dr Schneider NEVER once saw me nor talked with me. He knows I have Autism from my written correspondence though. His office gave my case manager today names of two other neurologist to see but they are general neurology. My appointment was important and I needed to problem solve through the type of AFO braces I need. My physical therapist and the orthotist are unsure of what would be best bc we know nothing about what to expect with my symptoms and progression...do I need metal bc I overpower the other one when symptoms flare up or will the Minimum or max support of the carbon graphite suffice bc when not in flare ups we don’t want to limit my natural movement if we don’t have to?I am afraid to drive I cannot do much outside due to the heat I have fallen over 30 times since July. My physical therapist has worked with me for a year now and she has seen me go from mild spasticity In one leg to severe spasticity in all four limbs. Yet this Dr...a neuromuscular specialist refuses to treat me despite having 4 other healthcare providers 2 neurologist an orthotist and a physical therapist say I need to see a neuromuscular specialist bc I have a neuromuscular issue going on. Dr Schneider refuses to treat me due to “not being a good fit” “you need general neurology” “ we can’t accommodate you my Autism.”Dr Schneider may have excellent Dr skills I wouldn’t know either way I never saw him but my experiences with him and his practice have caused a lot of harm to me and to my medical care. I am once again having to wait to be seen by a neuromuscular Dr while my symptoms continue to progress.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
