List of Jennifer Ball's Reviews
She is very kind and compassionate. Snd knowledgeable.
Love Dr. Ball I have been seeing her for over 10 years. She is by far one of the best oncology doctors in the area. She is a kind caring and knowledgeable doctor. She is always willing to listen as well as educate her patients. With her help I have maintained remission from NonHodgkins lymphoma for over 5 yrs.
Dr. Jennifer Ball is one of the best hematologistoncologist in the Tampa Bay area. I have been going to her for many years. She is friendly thorough and very experienced. She is the best of the best
I had the pleasure of meeting Jennifer Dr. Ball I enjoyed her persona and my over all experience. She asked lots of questions which I was very happy with. I gave plenty of details to make sure she was aware of my medical history to put me on the right path. CHINA was amazing when it came to drawing my blood.... not easy for most.
I am very happy with Dr Ball. She is caring compassionate and takes the time to listen to my concerns. I am not happy with front desk staff. I came in with a cold and as a courtesy to patients and staff I asked for a mask. I was told to walk back to lab and get one. The MA pointed to what cabinet I should open to get the mask myself. Really? The office waiting room is drab depressing and clutter throughout the office. From waiting room lab to Infusion Room. Checking out is a joke. Always a line Staff is rude and pretty much argues with me about my next appointment. Never scheduled correctly. FCS needs to get their act together. I wish I stayed at Moffitt for my Infusion but I chose location over quality of care.
Terrible team Awful to deal with But shes a good doctor
She was my first oncologist. She was brusque and rude and when I asked if I could get a second opinion she told me there was no time. Given my family history of breast cancer she suggested that both my daughters in their 20s have their ovaries removed as casually as she might have suggested some mild dietary change like eating less carbs. I did get that second opinion which tweaked my chemo plan in an important way Bec. 2nd doctor listened. Then I changed oncologist very glad I did.
In my opinion Gulfcoast Oncology should not even be in business. They have pharmacy techs mixing chemo meds with no pharmacists on staff. Therefore no one checks the meds for accuracy or integrity before they are infused into patients. I worked there and never once did a pharmacist check my work obviously because there were no pharmacists. We often even had to calculate the dosages. This can prove to be deadly to cancer patients if there were ever a mistake made in the compounding process. Imagine getting 10xs the dosage you needed My advice choose a clinic that you can actually go and meet and talk with the pharmacist they will have a license on the wall showing they are a Registered Pharmacist otherwise I would not trust my life to a pharmacy tech. Just BEWARE
We brought our father in for chemo who has stage 4. we know what his future will be.Dr Ball has a nurse at her countryside office that has a cold stone heart. Her name is Karen keep your family away from her.I certainly hope no one in her family ever is diag with cancer. She certainly needs a course on caring for them gently while we still have him on this earth for a very little while.Because of her is why we travel to a further office.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
