My experience with Dr. Santiago and her entire office staff was exceptional. Her staff was organized, prompt and caring. I had my newborn with me, and they were so helpful and kind. I had previously been to a different surgeon who was not helpful and it was a night and day difference with Dr. Santiago. She solved my issue and helped me understand how to prevent the same issue in the future. I am so grateful for Dr. Santiago and highly recommend her.

Dr. Santiago has been very helpful to me. Over time, she has made me feel so much better. I appreciate her skills.

Had an appointment scheduled for 3/16 . Got a call that the Dr. wanted to see me sooner. This doesn’t even deserve one star as after a 3 hr wait I never saw the doctor. No one came into the examination room to inform me of the Dr.’s status. Needless to say, I just left. Called and made another appointment. Was scheduled for 3/19. Three days before this appointment I get a call informing me they don’t accept my insurance. I inquired why didn’t they tell me. Didn’t get a satisfactory answer. Completely unacceptable!!

I’ve been going to Dr Santiago since 2008. She is caring and a wonderful and very efficient surgeon. I’ve also recommended many friends and coworkers to her practice and they all agree that Dr Santiago is the Best!!

She has been through a journey with me since 2015 and always has been professional and up front with everything. Her staff is wonderful and very helpful too! Love this Lady and know I’m in the best hands! ❤️

Before dr santiago I had had problems for 8 long years and many doctors not knowing what it was and making mistakes in surgery. I finally found de santiago after I’d nearly given up on getting better at all. Not only did she know right away what was wrong she understood my frustration with the other doctors and got me into surgery within the week. She made me feel like I was in good hands. She has incredible bedside manner and she really does care! She moves fast but knows what she is doing. I needed her in the er and SHE WAS THERE, I will never forget dr santiago and how she helped me I thank god I found her EVERYDAY I am completely healed and in no pain. When other doctors wrote me off Dr santiago took charge she truly is amazing at her craft and if your in need of a colon rectal surgeon she is the one. Her staff is also equally great I always felt welcome and comfortable in the office. I am very grateful and I would give more stars if I could. Thank you dr and staff you are amazing!

At first coming here I thought it was good. But then I realized a little too late that she does not care about your pain, won’t check on you after surgery and if you have any issues she doesn’t want to deal with it. I’d get put into a room immediately and then I’d have to wait at least an hour to be seen. Once I waited 2 hours in the room. Each time I had a toddler with me and getting a toddler to sit in a room for 2 hours isn’t the easiest. Dr Santiago would come in for about 5 minutes for the checkup. If I didn’t understand something she told me to “google it”. I had my first surgery from her in January, which she left as an open wound for 6 months. My second surgery resulted in her not listening to my excruciating pain, refusing to look at the wound or give me antibiotics, telling me that my home health nurses were putting stuff in my head, and a week in the hospital once I looked for help else where and they found an infection. I definitely wish I looked this doctor up before I made my appointment to see she’s been sued 3 times for malpractice and probably have had many more try to sue her. Im only 24 and I’ve been dealing with this for 9 months when it was only supposed to be one. I DO NOT recommend.

Due to health issues I have seen numerous doctors/offices and have seen how their staff also works. By far this office staff shows to be very caring. Now…Dr Santiago seems to be a very caring lady …most of the times. At others it seems like she isn’t there to hear you out. I have seen both the helpful/ kindness side and the other side of why are you back to see me? Do I recommend her…yes and sadly no. It’s hard to figure out which side your going to get. Her staff is phenomenal though. I just wish she were consistent even when things are beyond her knowledge. She could easily recommend I get a second opinion. She deserves 3 stars. Be open…check out her office. You will get help unless it’s something beyond her.

When I initially came in I was extremely impressed by her bedside manner but that quickly changed. I would have to say there is no professionalosm AT ALL!!! I had to call the facility 2 days before my scheduled surgery because nobody had even attempted to follow up with me. My appointments with her never lasted more than 2 mins and she doesnt even hear you out. She literally just gets you in and out and doesnt seem to genuinely care at all. I was honest in the fact that I felt that was irresponsible and rather than handle it professionally, she proceeded to call me and handle the situation in a way where I felt like I was about to get into a street fight. I was extremely taken back by her attitude and had never experienced such a display of unprofessionalism. Bottom line is I would NEVER recommend this surgeon ro my worst enemy
