Dr Cortese and I are new to each other but this seems like a great doctor patient relationship. She absolutely cares about my well being without a doubt.

Your new location is horrible. And the front desk staff isn’t understanding. It would help if they would answer the phone to assist. There was construction on the road I was suppose to turn on and the gps had me going around the building several times. When I attempted to call no one was available to answer to give me guidance. When I finally arrived the front desk staff was not empathic to the stress of finding the new place and the construction that blocked the way the GPS was telling me to go. They simply said “you’re 10 minutes late and the doctor may not see you”.I would have been on time and 20 minutes earlier than my appointment time if someone would’ve called me and said “the street is closed and you need to get in through an alternative route that GPS will not tell you”Next time they should be more empathetic and understand.The doctor is always empathetic and understanding.

Dr Machado Cortes is an excellent doctor she’s so knowledgeable of my pump and goes through my results So that I leave there with better understanding each time her staff is wonderful as well

Dr Machado is an excellent physician. She is thorough personable and compassionate. She treats her patients with respect and caring. I would recommend her to anyone.

Office experience was good but whoever called my Tresiba prescription into the Publix Pharmacy really screwed up. I was told by Dr. MachadoCortez to reduce my injections from 26 units to 20 units because I was still experiencing low blood sugars. Instead whoever sent in the prescription sent it in to increase it to 35 units. I called the Publix Pharmacy and spoke to the pharmacy Manager Zach and he looked at what was sent to the Publix pharmacy and he verified that it read 35 units.

Marivette Machado Cortes MD is always helpful in treating my diabetes. She is an excellent endocrinologist. Always takes an interest my complete health.

Called to schedule a first patient appointment waited three days for a call back and was told theyre not scheduling until October. Tried to schedule an appointment was then told they couldnt schedule one until they received copies of all office visits and labs from your current endocrinologist. Unreasonable office policy just to schedule someone 7 months out.

She is awesome. Not stressful at all going to her office
