Nancy A. Brown's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Brown has been my obgyn for over 19 years. I have seen many drs. and NPs in her office. I have had a few obgyn issues and each time they were handled promptly and with genuine concern for my reproductive health. I have never had an issue scheduling an appointment with the front office staff or feeling like the physicians didnt give me the time and thought needed for my appointments. I love this group of doctors particularly Dr. Brown and Dr. Abrudescu. I would and have recommended them.

I have been seeing brown for many years having been referred to her when I moved to the Orlando area. I was told she was fine until you had a problem and then you would get no help or explanations. Things went fine for quite a few years until problems started popping up for me . I should have left the first time I was ignored and they had no explanation as to why I was having issues. The second time it happened I was very upset but still did nothing and lived in pain for months. This last time it happened was the last straw as I knew there was something very wrong. When they again couldnt or wouldnt answer questions or advise alternatives I got angry. Having no answer and just saying to stay on the same course is just incompetence. I was able to find a new doctor and see her in a couple days. I was amazed at how I was treated by this new doctor and her staff. She actually understood found the issue without me bringing it up and offered advise and alternatives. Brown actually had a nurse call me and tell me to stay on the same medications that were causing the issues. Although I now have to deal with the results created by years of incompetence and laziness that brown and her staff have caused at least I feel like I have a chance at a normal life. And another dr. knows what I have gone through where and how long. If you decide to go to her please know that I am not an isolated patient. I have spoken to other women who have had the same issues with her. There are other doctors in the area that will treat you with respect. Find one way before I did. You dont have to put up with no explanations and being brushed aside. Its not worth the drama and longterm issues brown causes

She suspected an ectopic pregnancy but waited too long for an ultrasound. I required emergency surgery after rupture of my fallopian tube. Im now disabled and unable to work. Poor medical judgment after researching my symptomscondition and speaking with other doctors. She had nourgency regarding my condition which could have been fatal. I dont recommend her.

Best on gyn I have ever had. Exceptionally smart and knowledgeable.

Stay away from Nancy Brown. Nancy Browns office called back to confirm my appointment reminded me that the cost of the visit could be around $248.00. I agreed thinking shes a specialist. I went in for a biosy Walked out of office with the same instructions my Do had given. I have never felt so ripped off in all my life. Nancy is a big money doctor. More like a joke with a horrible personality to match. Receptionist was just as ruthless with a cold heart. STAY AWAY It just so happened the charge was $248.00 for nothing but disrespect.

We waited for over an hour for the ultrasound tech. We finally get in and find out that our little ones miscarried. We were devastated. The ultrasound tech told us to wait and the doctor will be in to talk to us. Over 15 minutes went by. We had the nurses even go look for her for us because it was taking so long. Finally Dr. Brown comes in. We said we have been waiting for her. She then snaps at us and says I HAVE BEEN WAITING OVER AN HOUR FOR YOU Im confused. I have been going to Dr. Brown for 18 years and would never go to any one else. She is great.
