I was taken care of quickly and respectfully. Everyone in the office was polite and professional. Great experience. Hope not to need her again but if I do, I would be happy with Dr. Stewart as my surgeon.

I was so disappointed with my care! No one came to get me up walking! Once in 3 days I walked only because my son was there. I begged for meds and if lucky they’d give to me 4-5 hours later. I cried and begged to go home! I was in total hell and wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to Morton Plant Hospital. Shame on all of you!! There’s so much more to tell you but I doubt there’s enough room here! I will say that the party of nurses hanging out and whooping it up by where the medications are stored was so loud with nurses sitting on laps, flirting etc etc. I wonder if they even had a supervisor!

Lack of follow-ups and not responding to messages (email and voice) for a follow up (per her medical order) is unacceptable and unprofessional. She did not take the time to see me prior to release from the hospital after she completed the emergency surgery, either. If you are looking for a general surgeon that follows up on her patients, Dr. Stewart is not the one.

I would highly recommend Dr Stewart. She is so caring and thorough. She did surgery on my Mom. If I ever needed surgery she would be the one I would call.
