I saw Dr. Brown twice. As I left his office yesterday a Selena on his staff yelled at me demanding $100.00 plus. The yelling took place at the front desk for all to see and hear. I politely told Selena thats a mistake I have 100% coverage. She chose to tell louder pointing wildly at me. I was in excruciating pain. The entire office could hear her. I called back today to make certain the mistake was corrected it had. When a patient IN PAIN is yelled at that amounts to abuse. No one in Dr. Browns office seemed to think anything of Selenas behavior.I began a support group for women to help us deal with abuse in the medical community. I wont be going back to see Dr. Brown ever and it isnt because he misdiagnosed my pain.
Dr Brown has been my doctor for over 10 years and I love him to death I left a message for Dr Brown to call me but I received a call from Shelly the office manager. This was the first mistake. Your doctor knows your history and what elements you have. I left Dr Browns office in silence about 6 to 8 months ago. I was going thru a lot extremely depressed and manic bipolar. I called the office to speak to doctor brown about this and to explain what I was going thru and talk to him as my doctor. But I guess that doesnt matter. People do things for different reasons. I just wish Dr Brown as my doctor for years would have reviewed my chart and called me. But instead shelly the office manager answered for him. She called me at 9am a d didnt even console with dr brown. This is unacceptable in my book. Here I am thinking I could at least speak to him. I never left his practice because I didnt like the service I was going thru something only my doctor could understand. I hope someone reads this hopefully dr brown and I get a call back. That would be nice. Selena was the best. I wish she would have called me.
Dr. Brown was very caring attentive and very prompt to return phone calls when we first moved to Florida from the west coast easing all anxiety that we had about finding a good accessible and knowledgeable general practitioner near our home. Would recommend to anyone in the Tampa Bay Area.
Dr. Brown is knowledgeable skilled thorough and practical. His staff is efficient skilled and friendly. I am thankful for the care Dr. Brown has provided to me over these many many years and continues to provide and will forever be grateful for their assistance with and patient care of my elderly parent who had dementia. Thank you.
Dr.Brown was referred to me by a friend and I have now been going for years. He is very attentive and thorough.
Great Doctor Always willing to help and listen to me about my needs Been coming here for years . Thank you Doctor Brown.
This review is specifically for his staff as I have not been seen by Dr.Brown. His reception staff Selena was extremely rude is regards to me asking if I can make an appointment. She said in the rudest tone “NoooOOoo”. On the insurance says they are accepting new patients. I then say “ What do you mean?” And she replies “ Are you SICK???”. I responded stating that I’m not Im just trying to find a normal doctor I can go to on the regular if I’m in need and she cuts me off saying “Hold on hold on hold on hold on” and transfers me to another lady. This was so rude to hear from a doctors office.
Dr Brown listens to his patients and addresses all their concerns. He can handle patients with multiple serious health concerns effectively and with successful outcomes.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
