Did not do a full evaluation of my shoulder before telling me that PT was the solution. Took a quick xray and NO MRI and told me everything was fine. After a month of PT my shoulder is no better. I have contact my insurance and have since move to another provider

Simply put he’s the best there is for shoulder and knee issues. I wouldn’t go to anyone else for shoulder repair or Knee replacement.

Fantastic bedside manners and communication. Super personable and helped me develop a plan for my shoulder. 36 I was too young to get a full shoulder replacement but Dr. Cottrell offered a few solutions to chose from as alternatives. A+++ would recommend to friends and family

Very short waiting time. Front desk area is very organized and polite. Xray department very short wait and nice technician. Dr. Cottrell was very thorough and explained my issue and suggested the best course of action.

This was the first time I ever had surgery and it just happened to be my right shoulder. The surgery went well and I highly recommend dr. Cottrell to anyone with shoulder problems. Dr. Cottrell was highly recommended to me by a friend and now I also highly recommend him

Dr. Cottrell was very professional and kind. He took the time to explain a variety of treatment options and reviewed the MRI of my knee with me. I myself am also a physician and I think he is one of the best in our community.

Dr Cottrell was excellent on my rotator cuff surgery a few years ago. He has been treating my knee off and on since then. My latest visit was outstanding his staff were friendly and professional he provided the advise I needed and the processing and procedures conducted quickly and efficiently

Not much of a wait and professional but diagnosis mostly based on xray. Would not let me talk and felt I was inconveniencing. Fastest appointment ever with someone who specializes.

I visited Dr Cottrell for a 2nd opinion for chronic knee pain. I was told to be prepared to wait because he takes time with his patients and listens to them. I didnt have to wait too long probably because the opposite is true at least in my case. He couldnt have been less interested in me or my pain. Hurried me up. Sped through his diagnosis so quickly that I couldnt follow what he was saying. Ultimately said go get some physical therapy for a month and come back then. He said lots of people have this problem and I may or may not ever need to do anything about it. What kind of thing is that to say? Just got the feeling that he was bored and did not care. Im not going back. I had high hopes and was really disappointed.
