We've been going to Dr. Nordquist for over 10 years now. We've always had great experiences. He is amazing, as is his office and nursing staff!

Very unorganized and unhelpful staff, especially reception; doctor and nurse practitioner do not return calls in timely manner; reception staff do not always communicate with practitioners; physician extremely knowledgeable

Dr.Norquist and his staff are a delight.The PA is thorough. Dr. Norquist cares, comes to the hospital and checks on everything. He is very attentive to my situation and so are the staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Clay Norquist.

Dr. Nordquist is an exceptional physician. He is knowledgeable and caring. He takes time the answer questions and is very caring. My family and I have been patients of his for many years and I trust Dr. Nordquist completely with our care. The office staff is exceptional, always providing the best customer service and patient care. I highly recommend this practice, Family Medical Center and trust that you will receive the very best care!

Another note on dr. Nordqiist. He relies on his staff interpretation to speak to him which are non-medical people who only concern is his family beauty contest business. Therefore, your information isn’t communicated which is so serious.

Dr. Norquist is a wonderful, extremely knowledgeable and compassionate physician! He is the absolute smartest doctor I’ve had and he makes me feel that my health is a collaboration. He is so knowledgeable- his brain is packed with information which makes it easy to trust him, as does the fact that he genuinely cares about his patients. He listens, finds great solutions and works with me where I am. His nurses are great- Ashley is a fantastic nurse. Dr. Norquist is the best primary physician I have ever had and I feel very fortunate to have found him and have recommended him to many.

Dr. Nordquist is wonderful. My primary residence is in the Boston MA area, supposedly the seat of some of the best medical care in the world. Initially, I signed up with Dr. Nordquist as a temporary primary care provider during my winter stays in Clermont. At one point, I began to have concerns that my blood pressure was too high. Both my primary care provider in MA and nurses at the local hospital in MA when I had a surgical procedure poo pooed my concerns, saying I was just nervous about being in a medical setting, which I never had been. Dr. Nordquist was the first to take my concerns seriously and helped to finally get my blood pressure under control. With several other issues, he’s given me thorough explanations of what is going on, what certain test would/would not show, why I shouldn’t take a medication recommended by another provider. I trust him implicitly and would recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent primary care provider in the Clermont area.

If it this review was for Dr Nordquist and ONLY Dr Nordquist, I would give him 5 stars. Unfortunately, a doctor, now, is only as good as his staff and office manager. Nordquist Family Medical Center is managed by Sharon Nordquist (his wife). Sharon is more concerned with running her beauty pageant business (shares same office space as medical practice) than running their medical practice. I guess her business plan for her husband is to overload him with patients and double or triple book appointments. Wait times are ridiculously long and you only get about 1 minute of his attention. Dr Nordquist now visits multiple local nursing homes and rounds at South Lake Hospital in his “free” time, which is stretching him razor thin. If you need anything more than routine physicals or basics meds, don’t waste your time with this office. It is truly a shame to see such a talented and caring doctor have his practice and time managed in to the ground by a short-sighted “office manager”.

Usually wait between 60-90 minutes. They never call my prescription refills in which warrant another 45 minute trip to the office demanding a written script so that I can make sure it’s getting refilled. Completely unprofessional and incompetent staff
