Not a pleasant visit

Referred to this MD by primary. First of all they are located IN the medical plaza at South Lake Hospital in Clermont. Doesnt say that when you look them up. Second everyone was friendly WITH THE EXCEPTION of the very rude unprofessional and severely lacking in soft skills named Tess. She didnt greet us and was rude while attending patients on the phone. Had it not been for the referral I wouldnt have brought my loved one here for the uncaring hag at the front desk Please get this woman some training or do your practice a favor and fire her.

I went to the hospital thinking I had a mini stroke and the next day Dr Iyengar came to my room sat next to my bed took my hand and told me I had a chronic type of leukemia. She and her staff are amazing and made a very scary time in my life better. You wont be disappointed I cam promise you that

What can I say about Dr. Al and his entire staff…. I first met my navigator Sue. I was lost scared alone and told I was going to die Her arms n her breast without knowing her was my first safe zone I cried as she held me and assured me I would be alright. The I met Dr. Al and the rest of his staff. I gave all my trust to Dr. Al n his staff and I am ALIVE. They worked so wonderfully with me and my situation let’s be clear I wasn’t the easiest patient to work with as I was allergic to everything they tried on me. But Dr. Al god bless him he found the way the path I needed even if he had to be stern with me. I have referred countless of patients to them regardless of being a patient you are addressed as family and part of on first name basis. With the best staff you will never feel like a patient always special individual and most important. Awesome survival rate I know because I am here. Even bumping into either one of them in the streets they still hug stop n know who you are and speak even ask about the family. I love them all and owe them the remainder of my living days

Cancer are amazing They are very professional friendly and never fail to go out of their way to provide the very best pt. care. Dr. Al and staff saved my life. I didnt need to be in a high class place I just needed to be where they cared for me. I would recommend highly this office.

I have been calling at least a month talk to Jennifer said she was going to get back with me so I call again nothing I went to the office this morning waiting to see Jennifer i waited for twenty minutes then I said to the receptionist to have her call me and still nothing very bad business.

I was seen by Dr. Ahmed AlHazzouri last week. He seemed very competent and professional. From what I and my wife understood he was going to do more bloodwork on me and some of the results would be known right there at the office. The sameday results showed some improvement so that seemed good.Next I believe I was to wait for a specific blood cancer test and I believe an iron deficiency test as well. Unfortunately that is not what was done according to a nurse practitioner I spoke with a few days after my office visit. Moreover I do not recall receiving any instructions for next steps since everything looked fine. That is when I took the doctor up on his offer to speak with him directly to find out what I understood to be the specific blood cancer test and iron deficiency test and to find out what my next steps should be.Although I am a bit confused the nurse practitioner and the rest of the Florida Cancer Specialists Clermont office staff seemed very courteous and professional.

Disappointing tiny cramped waiting space filled with germs from patients that cough and sneeze. The doctor is good and nursing staff okay at least they have a positive attitude amidst the chaos but the front desk doesnt show much concern. They cancelled an appointment for no reason without contacting me ahead of time secretary made up story why but it was proven false then next time it took 45 minutes getting me in after schedule appointment and they took others who came after me first. Very concerned about the cleanliness of this placecramping 7 people into a lab area no bigger than a living room while supposedly sticking you with clean needles. No privacy in infusion center. Avoid this place.
