List of Selina J. Lin's Reviews
Best ObGyn hands down! She listens and Understands. She cares. Her bed side manner is impeccable.
Dr. Lin is by far the best OB/GYN I've ever been to. After numerous negative experiences in doctors' offices, I typically have high anxiety when going to medical appointments. Dr. Lin is a totally different experience. She is calming, listens well and truly cares about her patients.
Outstanding care. Very friendly staff her nurse Cynthia /Cyndi I love her gentle ways. Highly recommend Cynthia especially
Dr. Lin is a caring and very professional doctor. She goes above and beyond caring for her patients. Definitely deserves more stars than five!
Today was my second time visiting Dr. Lin at Katy Women’s Care and I will never go back. She has no regard for my time and completely lacks bedside manner. Not only did she run an hour behind to see me, but no one came during the whole hour long wait to check up on me or notify me. I stepped out into the hallway in my gown only to see Dr. Lin perched on the countertop charting. This is now the second time I’ve seen her run this late for her appointments. Upon entering the room, I could tell that she had no clue about my history despite me bringing all my records to the previous visit with her. She proceeded to perform my well woman exam and then when I mentioned a lower abdominal pain that I’ve been experiencing, she gives me a diagnosis and tells me to take an anti-estrogen medication for it. There was no recourse other than to take the anti-estrogen medication. I am a woman in my late thirties with no children. She didn’t even stop to have a discussion about my new diagnosis and she was seemingly hurried in her dialogue with me although I had several questions for her. My entire visit including the well woman exam took less than 7 minutes even though my wait for her was more than 60 minutes. I will never waste my time again coming to this office.
I love Dr. Lin. She’s kind and very thorough. She takes her time with all my concerns and I’ve been seeing her for a few years and will continue to. My coworker recommend her to me and I will do the same!
Waited over an hour in the treatment room. I finally got dressed and left. This office has no consideration for patient's time. If you have time to kill and no other agenda, bring a phone, a book and a magazine .. because you're going to be in for a LONG wait.
My daughter was having some weird lower tummy issues and started with a GI. After testing, nothing appeared to be wrong and we thought it would be a good idea to see a gynecologist as the symptoms could be related to possible Endrometriosis. She’s a very young teacher who can’t really make or receive calls during normal business hours and I offered to find an outstanding OBGYN who comes highly recommended by many I know. My daughter sent all of her insurance & anything else needed to set up an appointment. She’s never had this kind of exam, but she is now an adult and it’s time, especially with the symptoms she’s having. I was able to schedule an appointment right after school and she had all the paperwork filled out beforehand. She had a few ultrasounds and spoke with Dr Lin. She really liked the doctor and her kind, caring, gentle manor. While she’s still searching for the right diagnosis (she’ll need a laparoscopic procedure when time permits). I feel very comfortable with my baby girl in the hands of such a sweet, competent doctor. She’s decided that Dr Lin will be the doctor she chooses for an OB when that time comes. I really appreciate the whole staff for making her comfortable during this time.
I had the most amazing experience at Dr. Lin’s office. I went for the first time yesterday. The staff and the nurse were so sweet and patient. They really care about the happiness of the patients. I can’t say enough about Dr. Lin. She took so much time with me. She answered all my concerns . She made me feel like I was the only one that mattered during the time I spent with her. I felt so comfortable the entire time. I’m so thankful a friend referred her to me. I highly recommend her and her staff !!!
I was a patient there for years until I called to get my test results and spoke with Crystal Smith their office manager who was the rudest person I have ever met. I would stay far away from this practice! She literally yelled and screamed at me on the top of her lungs saying she dropped me as their patient, to never call back, to never come back and then hung up the phone on me all because I asked her politely if my test results showed cancer or not. So then not only did I not know if I had cancer, but I was left to find a new doctor through all of this. I was devastated and shocked that a practice I’ve gone to for years that I trusted with my health would treat me like this for literally no reason other than wanting my test results. I have never been treated so badly by anyone, I have no idea why you work in healthcare if you do not care about people’s health and instead choose to yell at them for wanting their own test results. I don’t understand how anyone can be so rude and evil to someone who is trying to find out if they have cancer or not. I was very nice and respectful to her throughout all her yelling and screaming at me and was very saddened to read so many reviews of other people who had the same terrible experience with her as I did. Life is too short to spread such evil and rudeness. This office has lost a lot of patients due to allowing this office manager to remain working there. Kindness and respect goes a long way.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
