This is the worst Dr office I have ever been to!!

Family members of mine have been patients of Lake America for quite some time now. We almost left the practice a few years ago because they had a crass nurse that was beyond unprofessional. Then it seemed as if management finally got something right and they hired a nurse that is the hidden gem of Florida. Jamie has the knowledge to do her job accurately and with more heart than any I have ever come across. I am writing this review only now though because my family experienced much anxiety about their care over the last couple of months. More than once the new nurse that there is there now, Latoya, made us feel like we were nothing but a bother. We asked for Jamie to come in but was curtly told that she was not there so we had to have this Latoya girl. My poor aunt actually cried all of the way home because we thought that Jamie had left the practice and that we would have to find a new primary care office. Much to our surprise and delight, Jamie answered today when I called to ask a question. I hope that everyone at Lake America knows the hidden gem that they have in Jamie, she is the heart of that clinic. I also hope that they know how this newer girl is towards the people coming in to the clinic.

I have been a patient at Lake America for a few years now. My primary is Doctor Alka. She is excellent and has great interpersonal skills. I can tell that she cares about my health and well being. I schedule regular 3 month checkups via telemedicine to make sure I am on track to stay in the best possible health. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the top notch service I get from nurse Jamie. Anytime I have needed a prescription filled it is handled and processed by her always on the same day. Anytime I have had a question, she is always available to assist and it’s done with a great positive attitude. I do not do reviews, but this one was necessary to acknowledge the quality and professionalism of this organization.

I have been a patient here for a bit and I love my physician. However, for the past two days I have been in communication with a wonderful woman named Darlene. I needed to get some information and I was pleasantly surprised to speak with her. Not only is she super efficient, she went above and beyond making sure I received what I needed while managing to be an utter delight to speak with. The main reason I am writing this review is to publicly thank her. Darlene if you see this, thank you so much for being you, you are an amazing person and I truly appreciate you helping me get what I needed to in such a limited time.

Unprofessional staff, zero accountability for mistakes. Be prepared to spend hours , days and weeks doing all the work for the staff. When you identify issues that should be resolved in timely manor you'll spend hours being passed around over the phone. No one in this place takes responsibility just make excuses for why things haven't been done. Office manager at this place should be fired or find another line of work where peoples lives and health isn't at risk and in the hands of irresponsible personnel.

They use to bee good, but have become increasingly difficult to deal with. I have been trying for a week to get and appointment because they will not approve medication I am almost out of without an appointment. However, despite numberous calls and emails (what they say is the fastest way to contact them) my emails & calls have gone unanswered. I will be looking for a new physician.

They never answer the phone. You have assigned appointment first thing in the morning, you still have to wait an hour for the doctor to get in, even if there is no paper work you to fill out. They keep changing your assigned doctor. If you don’t get a doctor you will just be assigned a nurse for your visit. They don’t review medical paper work from prior test with you. When you are asked to take a complete blood test in two weeks and they say they will send paper work over, you go to have blood work done two weeks later the testing facility does not have the paper work and you have to start all over again. If your a man and a woman doctor exams you, they have to have another woman in the room with you. They staff has turned into wam bam thank you kind of service.

Dr. Aggarwal rocks!!!!! I could not be HAPPIER with this Dr. and his office!! From the very first visit we came up with a detailed plan to work on my health condition and 5 months later I am doing so much better!! Yes it took me working hard but with the best guidance ever! Dr. Aggarwal is a true blessing and I am thankful to him!! Trust me give him a try you will love him and his office.

Dr. Alka and her staff are the best. I have been a patient for three years now. So grateful to have them in Clermont.

The NP Brandon Still is awesome! Listens and explains well. I never feel rushed like many other practices.
