Dr. Edgar Figueroa save my life. His credentials are extensive including his many years on the trauma team at Holmes Regional medical Center. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is alive today because of his expert care, and I would highly recommend consulting with him for procedures. I am so thankful that Dr. FIGUEROA performed my gallbladder surgery. He did it laparoscopicly. Even with a mass between gallbladder and liver, he patiently continued, had a biopsy sent to the lab, waited for it to be analyzed and finished the surgery. I would recommend him to everyone!

Wife had a large hernia plus 2 other problems in the lower abdomen..., Dr Figueroa took care of all problems and she is doing GREAT! Her flexibility is back, and she is smiling as 18 pounds weight loss are gone due to excercise! She looks and feels great! Excellent job, Dr Figueroa.

'Dr Fig' repaired my 14 stab wounds I sustained back in 2009. His team did this while I was losing several pints of blood. The Good Lord could not have saved me without splendid work by this trauma team. Brevard County is grateful for the hard work done by Fig and Holmes and Health First. Daily..............

I HAD A HERNIA REPAIRED BY DOCTOR FIGUEROA USING THE DA VINCI ROBOT AT HOLMES REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER NEVER HAD ONE BIT OF PAIN OR ANY COMPLICATIOINS FROM SURGERY-DR. FIGUEROA IS AN OUTSTANDING SURGEON THAT IS TRULY SKILLED AND COMPASSIONATE AND IS A CREDIT TO HIS PROFESSION. I HAVE RECOMMENDED SEVERAL FRIENDS TO HIM AND ALL FEEL THE SAME AS I DO.

If the scale went to 10 I would still give Dr. Figueroa an 11. He is well known as one of the top trauma surgeon in Florida, so his practice as a general surgeon seems to get overlooked. I can tell anyone first hand that for any general surgery, in my case bilateral inguinal hernia repair, Dr. Figueroa should be the skilled physician you want. From diagnosis on everything he did was skilled, informative and caring. He made sure my wife and I thoroughly understood the problem and the solutions available. He was very open and honest regarding different techniques and procedures citing the various pros and cons. This thoroughness helped us pick the right procedure for my particular case. The surgery went very well and recovery has gone exceptionally well. Dr. Figueroa has followed up several times and been available to answer any post op questions we have had. He proved he is a superior surgeon, a caring physician, and simply a charming and engaging gentleman. You will find that you like him as a humble man who only seeks to help you in the best way possible.
